The Unexpected Guest (2)

Aaron dragged his feet to go and answer the door after the knocks had come.

Opening it, he saw an unexpectedly familiar face staring right back at him.

Aaron raised his eyebrows, bemused by the sight of Blue Hair in front of his house.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he asked, anticipating a reasonable response.

The lady smiled and bent forward, trying to mesmerise Aaron even further.

"Hello, Lucky Aaron," she said.

Aaron raised his eyebrows again and snorted, "Lucky Aaron?"

Blue Hair nodded, still maintaining what she had just called him. "You are lucky to be among a handful of men that my Lady Chieftain permits to be in her presence."

Aaron stared her dead in the eyes with a flat face, showing no emotions whatsoever.

"Should I be impressed with that?" Aaron retorted, filling Blue Hair's insides with irritation toward him.

"Not like she is some god or something. Even then, I wouldn't care to be honest. It's no big deal."

Blue Hair smacked him on the head.

"Ouch! What the hell was that for!" he yelled at her.

Blue Hair swerved her hair to the side. "You should fall on your feet and be thankful that my Lady Chieftain calls for you, you pesky man! That is a privilege not many get in their lifetime!"

Aaron chucked as he found it hard to believe the oozing pomposity in Blue Hair's words. "Seeing how much effort you guys are putting into bringing me to her court. I won't be wrong if I say she really wants me, would I?"

Something snapped inside of Blue Hair and a sea of rage erupted from deep within her as she barked at the young man.

"How dare you!" she began, "How dare you speak such blasphemous words about my Lady Chieftain! How dare you think that my lady chieftain would want a man at all, much less a man like you!"

Aaron simply stared blankly at her.

"How do you even know where I live?" he interjected before she whined any further than he could endure.

Aaron's abrupt question threw her off and cut her short as she was ranting. Blue Hair quietened down and as much as she hated Aaron's cockiness, she couldn't do anything about it.

"We, the Cabinet of the Chieftain, know everything about everybody in Crimson Melon Town."

Aaron rubbed his chin and smiled. "Is that so?" he muttered.

Blue Hair had given him very valuable information without knowing it. The cabinet was a new route to finding answers to his questions.

He could learn more about this world and the weird ability that the bandit manipulated amongst other things. Better still, he could learn a bit more about the real Aaron's old life and that of his mother, Alicia.

The possibilities that this small piece of information offered were endless. He did not know how yet, but Aaron knew for sure that he needed to get hold of the pool of information the cabinet controlled.

"That's cool, I guess," he gave her a casual response that was oozing indifference.

Blue Hair snapped again. "Just cool? You guess it's cool?"

Her long arms reached Aaron's collar in no time and she tried to lift him off the ground. Naturally, it would have been doable since Blue Hair was taller and bigger than Aaron but the young man's body did not yield to the abnormal strength of this woman in front of him.

"Huh?" Blue Hair thought, seeing that Aaron wasn't moving an inch even as she tried with all her might.

The young man stared back at her with a stern expression.

"Get... your... filthy... hands... off... me."

Aaron swatted her hand off his collar with a slap, leaving the member of the cabinet gaping with astonishment.

A thought crossed her mind about Aaron. 'This guy... he's different from the rest. He's strong.'

Blue Hair regained her composure and was about to continue blubbering when Aaron interrupted her and owned the situation.

"Enough of your whining, woman. Are you coming in or not?" he said, shutting Blue Hair up for good while stepping aside to make way for her to enter the Winters' home.

Blue Hair's eyes widened and glimmered. Her cheeks flushed and she felt shivers trickle down her back. Her thick, luscious thighs twitched underneath the dress she wore.

She had never felt like this from a man before. She had never been so dominated before. The pressure that Aaron exuded was otherworldly imposing, enough to keep her mum.

'He's just like her,' Blue Hair thought, imagining the chieftain's face on Aaron's.

Blue Hair didn't want to admit it but Aaron owned and dominated her, despite the efforts she made to put up a front and for some reason, something inside her loved that he did. She liked the feeling as it stirred up inside of her.

She scoffed and reluctantly strolled into their home with Aaron following right behind her.

"Have a seat," he said, gesturing for her to sit on one of the couches in the living room.

Blue Hair looked around and nodded. "You have a nice place."

Aaron was surprised by the sudden politeness of her voice.

What happened to the raging beast that was outside some seconds ago?

He didn't reply to her compliment and instead proceeded to get her a glass of water.

"Who was it at the door, Aaron dear?" Alicia's voice reached their ears from upstairs.

She yawned as she climbed down the stairs, adjusting her nightgown to cover her well enough even though her nipples still managed to bulge through the short silver gown.

Alicia stepped into the living room and met the visitor.

Aaron took his time bringing the water for the guest. He first washed the glass cup and rinsed it spotless before pouring water into it.

He carried the glass out of the kitchen and headed straight to the living room, only to meet Alicia and Blue Hair laughing and chatting silly with each other.

"Oh, Aaron dear," Alicia remarked on seeing her son. "You didn't tell me you were expecting a visitor. A female friend for that matter."

Aaron sighed. "Must have skipped my mind, mother. Sorry about that," he answered sharply, not wanting the matter to linger.

Aaron tried to kill the situation as fast as possible because of the awkwardness that it would create. He went over to Blue Hair and handed her the glass of water.

Alicia laughed. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend."

"Huh? Girlfriend? She's not my girlfriend, mother."

Blue Hair enjoyed the glass of water while watching the silly play between the mother and son.

Alicia moved closer to Aaron who was seated by her side. She covered her mouth with her hands to prevent Blue Hair from seeing or reading her lips.

"You shouldn't hide stuff like this from me, Aaron. I'm your mother and you can tell me about your girl problems anytime, any day."

Aaron sank into the couch and sighed. "For the umpteenth time, mother, she... is... not... my... girlfriend!"

Alicia smiled and shrugged. "If you say so."
