The Dining Room

"We may have to burn that weed field to get rid of those two," Caellum said as Baledin entered the kitchen. His two demon brethren were cleaning the cuts they have sustained from Klael.

Baledin toweled off his wet hair. Tammy was resting in her bed. "Who sent them?"

"Tucker."

He frowned when he heard the answer. "Her grandson?"

"Apparently, he deals with demons. This weed he grows is bad for humans but very lucrative. The grove is actually part of Tammy's property."

"So, you think he'll make an appearance sooner rather than later?"

"Definitely. We've killed two if his demons already. A human can only get three contracts in his lifetime. He'll only have one left." Caellum stitched up his arm. It would heal soon enough.

"Bring it on!" Adreen was ready to fight even if his chest was still gaping open.

Ceallum sat him down and began to stitched him up. "We'll have to bind Tammy to us. What's the progress?"

Baledin threw the towel to him. "She's resisting. Her family has done a number on her. Her dead husband broke her self-confidence. I think if her grandson came, she'd give him the world only because he's her only family left."

Caellum frowned, not expecting that answer. "Perhaps I should try."

"Maybe you should! I ran your feather through her nether. She loves it. Imagine if she feels all your feathers," Baledin sang. Adreen laughed.

"Shut it!" Caellum hated his feathers because they were un-demon-like. But for Tammy, he'd do anything for her. Demons rarely bonded to their humans. They rarely bonded to fellow demons. When the three of them discovered the advantages of this bond, they got stronger and savored it. "Fine, tomorrow, it's my turn to play with her. For now, we need a plan on how to fortify this place. Until she bonds with us, we're going to have to defend this place. I like Tammy. I'm not giving her up."

"Neither am I," Adreen agreed.

"Neither am I," Baledin also said.

"Then we make her fall for us," he affirmed. "She is beautiful and insatiable. How do human men make human females fall for them?" The three demons put their heads together. The bookcase proved very useful. They combed through Tammy's romance collection. "It says here they give the girls resources. Food, clothing, trinkets." Trinkets that proved their love was always the common denomination in the books. A Necklace, ring, dress or flowers were the most popular ones. "Adreen, you go get those tonight." He turned to Baledin. "You make sure our home is comfortable."

"What will you do?" they asked her.

"I'll burn the grove and make the yard pleasant."

The three demons got to work right after dinner. Each of them shed their human form and did their assigned tasks. Because they were demons, they had the advantage of using their magic on acquiring what they needed. Adreen went to town and the next town over to take what they would need. Baledin fortified the house by adding supports to the foundation. He planned to add that tower bedroom soon. Caellum burned the weed field completely, getting rid of Jimni and Klael at the same time. They made sure to be back in the house at midnight to sleep with Tammy.

Tammy slept through the entire racket. She seemed to be sleeping her days away. The nights were very comforting as the three boys always appeared to her. She would be young and lusty. The boys would service her every need and they'd sleep together in a large pillow bed until morning.

Suffice to say, Klael was strong but two demons combined were stronger.
