When finally left Irina whispered to her maid "make sure they stay silent. You Will get the same opportunity later on" with slight smirk

"Very well, mistress" replied alexia knowing full well what she meant. She then left the grand hall.

When she left some of those present knew what she would do, but they stayed silent. For those who worked under baroness Irina from the start they all knew about Alexia. She was the best assassin under baroness Irina. An assassin so fearsome that those who were targeted by her never survived and was surnamed shadow maiden for her ability to hide in the shadow without being detected..

Her most famous assassination, was when she killed an early demon baron while he was sleeping next to his wife without a sound. The wife only knew that her husband was dead when she woke up next to his dead body.

"As all of you accepted, you can now sign the Faustian contracts before we continue." Irina spoke. Those present then proceeded to sign the contacts.

"As you know without proper Mana circulation techniques and resources , it is very difficult for normal demons like us to breakthrough without risking our life or finding rare opportunities."

"But this will change for those in my territory. We managed to obtain proper training manuals for all of you and it won't be long before you all can train with those, but we can't let this new leak or else we might suffer from a calamity ."

"Thus the reason I made all of you prove your loyalty by signing those contracts. You will be able to choose a suitable mana circulation manual from the library to break through to the demon baron in the next few days."

"We have been one of the weakest and poorest territory for far too long and it's time for change. I will be going in seclusion to break through the viscount realm in the meantime you must work hard to break through the demon baron. If you work hard and contribute to our territory in future you also will have the chance to breakthrough to the demon viscount or even count realm in the future."

Everyone was astounded when they heard the news, they never though that they would get the chance to breakthrough so soon.

"you can all leave, if there are any problems while I'm in seclusion you can look for Alexia or Kael. He will be in charge of our territory in the meantime. I hope when I get back, most of you would have made a breakthrough."
