Roger curled his lip, "It's you who's overthinking, okay?"
He sized up Goway's bean sprout-like figure, "I've always seen you as a friend, but it seems like you're always misunderstanding something."
He gestured to indicate the height difference between them, "Suspicions like these, let's wait until you grow a bit taller and look a bit more mature before discussing them."
Having said that, he dropped the subject and instead pointed at the cabin in front of them, "Is this where I'm going to live?"
Goway nodded, "This was the place where my brother used to live, you can stay here for now. As my Guardian, if I arranged for you to stay somewhere else, those folks from the Secret Blood Families would definitely look to trouble you in advance."
"Thanks for having my interests at heart," Roger nodded; he indeed hated trouble.
Goway pursed her lips, "I'm just worried those guys will be crippled by you before the ceremony even starts."
