Chapter 37

"Did you eat anything in particular", Ming Chen asked, getting up to find some paper so he can write done any food and check later if the little kids have any allergies to them. The little boy listed a few things he had eaten, and his mother Ms Fang confirmed them and that there were no allergies for those things. However, Ming Chen said they will do an allergy test just to make sure. Suddenly, the little kid stood up and said aha, as if remembering something, but then looked at his mother with guilt in his eyes. 

"Mommy promise JanJan that you wont be angry", the little boy said with puppy eyes. Ms Fang seems to have hesitated for some time, that the little boy held both of her cheeks and made her face him before making her promise to not be angry. Ms Fang couldn't resist just cuteness from her little baby and agree. Only then did the little boy sit back down on the bed. 

"I was sitting next to uncle and when he wasn't looking, I had some of his wine", the little boy said before covering his mouth and closing his eyes, thinking that this will protect him from his angry mommy, but when he didn't hear any movement, he looked back up to see everyone in the room with a weird look on their face. 

"Mommy, what's wrong. JanJan promises to never do it again, please don't be angry", JanJan said, clutching to his mother. Ms Fang gave a look to He Long, who simply nodded at her and left the room along with the director. Only Ming Chen, Ms Fang and JanJan were left in the room. 

"Mommy's no angry at JanJan, but proud. Thank you for telling the truth. This handsome doctor can help you because you were truthful". Ms Fang said smiling towards Ming Chen. He had no idea what happened behind the scene, but he saw the looks exchanged between the siblings and knew something wasn't right, especially when JanJan mentioned the wine. 

Ming Chen called for some nurse to come into the room along with some equipment. Ming Chen was going to take some blood and get them tested. Although, through JanJan's records he could see that there have been multiple blood tests, all of them only look into allergy. He plans on sending this small tube of blood to his third uncle who is a lab scientist. Out of all his family members it's probably only his third uncle and his family that he trusted in the slightest. 

Once the items needed had come inside the room, the little boy had gotten frightened from seeing the needle. Ming Chen could only coax the little guy into finally giving him some blood in exchange for a bagful of sweets. Once he got the blood sample, he had left the mother and child alone for some rest and went out of the room. The director was waiting outside. 

Ming Chen told him to send the blood sample to Ming Laboratories and ask for Ming Jiang to test it for any drugs and anything else suspicious. The director took the sample and was about to leave when he stopped in his tracks and turned back to Ming Chen. 

"I think you should also take a blood sample from Mr He too, he also drank the wine. I will be waiting here. I will send both samples together". 

The director said pointing at what seemed to be like an office. Ming Chen took the trolly and walked towards the office. Once there he stood in front of the door, unsure of whether he should go in or get something else to do it. He had looked at the corridor and saw that there was no other medical staff besides him, he had no choice but to go in and do it himself. 

'knock' 'knock'. Ming Chen knocked on the door, and a deep voice telling him to come inside could be heard. He opened the door and inside He Long be seem sat on the sofa, looking at something on his phone. 

"I'm here to take some blood samples from you Mr He", Ming Chen said as he slowly walked towards, He Long as if to not disturb a tiger. Seeing Ming Chen being so cautious around him, He Long felt a pang of pain in his heart, however, he didn't voice out his pain. Ming Chen reached He Long and sat down on the other side of the sofa. He didn't say anything, and He Long had already rolled up his shirt sleeve. 

Ming Chen was able to take the blood sample without any problems and got up to leave. As he was able to open the door to leave, the door suddenly closed shut. When he looked up, he could see He Long's hands keeping the door closed. Ming Chen felt his heart thumping in his chest. The man was right behind him, and he could feel his hot breath on his neck, which caused shivers down his spine. 

Ming Chen's body suddenly stiffened, as he felt He Long place his head on his shoulder and his arms wrapping around his body. He didn't know what to do but stay completely still and make no movement. His heart beating rapidly, he didn't know why. The thought of another man besides Li Jun touching made him feel disgusted and when He Long touches him, he feels heat creep up his body, he couldn't explain it but, He Long's touch didn't disgust him, rather…. 

It had been sometime; however, He Long didn't seem to have any intention of letting him go. Ming Chen thought that he had fallen asleep and was about to move away, but he was stopped by He Long's stiff arms. 

"Don't leave me again please, I cant live without you", He Long said his voice shaking and on the verge of tears. Ming Chen, felt a complete loss, he simply couldn't understand what was going on but ye his heart still felt pain. Why, why did he feel so hurt hearing He Long say those words. Are they intended for him. ' No way', Ming Chen thought, he had never been acquainted with He Long before, so why. 

"Mr He, I think you have the wrong person, I'm not the person you are thinking of", Ming Chen said trying to pry off He Long's strong arms off him. However, the man was too strong, and Ming Chen couldn't push him away.
