When they finished their breakfast, the four members of the Cadre excused themselves and left the Forbidden Valley. The other four remained at the table in silence while Jasmine and Cassia cleared the table.
"Is there progress in finding the murderer?" Aisling asked.
"We have a lead, thanks to you. It seems that you were right. The core goal of the killer seems more focused on Izanagi. The current working theory is that it might be one of the Ruler's past lovers. Bai Hu and Oceanus are working on reducing the suspect list." Rex responded.
"Is the list that long?" Aisling asked.
Samiel chuckled. "You have no idea."
"It would be helpful if we had a little more input from you if you are feeling up to it. We can discuss the future you saw during our little adventure." Rex looked at Aisling with a provocative smile.
