Traveler vs Traveler

Lumine looked at me confusedly. "What?"

"I want to see just what you're capable of," I smiled at her.

"But you haven't even told us how you defeated Osial yet…"

"Oh, right. Ahaha…"

I then explained to them how the Osial fight went. I told them that my fight with Childe happened at the same time Osial was unsealed so I wasn't able to fight the Fatui. How my fight with Childe was basically a breeze when I got serious. How fucking painful it was to go full power while being given power by the Adepti. How I just used the combined power of Gluttony, Adeptal energy, and Divine energy to seal Osial once more.

"That's basically how it all went down." I said as I shrugged.

"...HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DEFEAT YOU THEN?!" I was aback when Lumine suddenly yelled that. Huh, that is a good question. How is she supposed to beat me?

"I dunno, maybe go all out? See me as an enemy and don't hold anything back?"

"...I guess?"

I nodded and waved my hand. A few ways away from us, a clearing formed. The Glaze Lilies flew away but the grass stayed. It was around 15 meters on all sides. I looked at Lumine and she nodded. We both walked over to the clearing and took a spot on the opposite sides. I raised my hand, creating a barrier around the opening to prevent the others from getting hurt.

I stretched around a bit, this was going to be interesting after all. The last time I sparred with my sister was well over 500 years ago. I might have memories of a lot of things that happened in the past, but there's a high chance that I forgot about how my sister exactly fought.

The only things that I remember were that her sword style is elegant. She has more "style" compared to me. Well, I do put more into "style" now. Still not quite close to hers though. Her sword style makes it hard for her moves to be read. Not to mention that she may have some tricks up her sleeve. I may be strong, but I still need to be careful. I did tell her to take this as an actual fight after all.

Lumine took a deep breath. She's actually going to fight that monster of a being who killed those Abyss Mages with just an arrow. The same monster who defeated Childe, in which she struggled to defeat, with no effort at all. She readied her Sword of Descension and stood in her usual fighting stance. She needs to take this seriously.

Aether, on the other hand, summoned his Jade Cutter. He thought of using Festering Desire, but decided against it. That would be overkill after all. Although, him fighting her at all is overkill. Anyways, another reason for the Jade Cutter was for their fight to be prolonged. At this point, only Lumine would be able to match him. Or so he thinks, he doesn't want to count the other gods after all.

He got into the fighting position of his Corruption sword style. A sword style that Lumine doesn't know. Which is why her being shocked at the sight isn't so surprising. This was all new to her after all.

Aether's eyes flashed as they narrowed, showing that he was somewhat serious. Lumine tightened her grip on her sword. Archons, this was a bad idea…

"Go!" Aether shouted.

Lumine immediately dashed at Aether, breaking some of the ground beneath her. 'Pretty decent speed,' Aether thought. He dashed as well, the only difference is, the ground beneath him didn't crack. He already mastered his strength to the point that he can use a lot of it while still keeping the collateral damage to a minimum. That said, he was much faster. Even back then, he was always the faster one.

They met in the middle, their blades clashing. The ground beneath them shattered due to the sheer force, forcing strong wind to the direction of the spectators. Luckily, the barrier stopped it.

Lumine used her free hand to make Palm Vortex. Seeing the accumulation starting on his sister's free hand, Aether made a Palm Vortex of his own that spun in the opposite direction than his sister's. His Palm Vortex formed way faster than Lumine's, showing just how much control he has. Lumine's eyes widened and as soon as she saw Aether move his hand, she moved her own, their Palm Vortex's colliding in the process.

Due to the difference in the way the two vortex's rotated, the moves were cancelled. Seeing this, Lisa's* eyes widened.

"He used a reverse vortex to cancel cutie's. Not only that, he was able to cast it faster. Cutie's brother has already mastered it to that point, and considering they only had it for the same amount of time, he must have had talent." said Lisa* in awe.

Havria, Barbara, and even Jean puffed their chest out proudly.

"What are you doing…?" asked Keqing*.

"Feeling really proud!" the three girls said proudly.

"What… Did you raise him…?" Ganyu* asked, confused.

"Just… don't question it." Eula said, embarrassed at the way her friends are acting.

Back to the fight, Aether and Lumine were clashing blades at blinding speed. Although, Aether was a lot faster. Even back then, Aether was the faster one. With each strike, they got faster and faster, until Aether decided to end the clash with a gust of wind that he sent out as he slashed.

Lumine was pushed back quite a bit, but she regained her footing quickly. Making use of the opening, Aether created Geo arrows and shot them at Lumine. Lumine blocked most of the attacks while using Anemo as she kept on spinning with each strike. This confused Aether as this was just a waste of movement in his point of view. Shaking the confusion off, Aether kept on shooting Geo arrows as he dashed. He got close, so he decided to stop firing the arrows.

"Heh." Lumine smirked and launched a Gust Surge to Aether as soon as he got close enough.

Aether's eyes widened and he too smirked. 'So that's what those unnecessary movements are for. She was building up her Gust Surge as she blocked my attacks using Anemo so I wouldn't notice.' Aether thought as he was slowly lifted up by the Gust Surge.

The Gust Surge consumed Aether and Lumine sighed as she thought that Aether was pulled away and that she won.

"That wasn't as hard as I thou-"

"Don't let your guard down." Aether said as he appeared out of black flames in front of Lumine, swinging his sword all the while.

Lumine quickly lifted her blade and tried to block the incoming blade, but it didn't connect. The sword that was supposed to hit didn't do so. Instead, Aether turned into black flames once more and appeared a few ways away from her.

Lumine was confused by this, but readied herself when she saw Aether get into position once more. Aether performed the first form "Slash", although it was significantly weaker. A flame slash flies towards Lumine's direction. Lumine did her best to block it, but it was futile. She was blown away and before the slash could go out of hand, Aether made it disappear by appearing in front of it and using Gluttony to absorb it.

"Haah, you okay?" Aether said as he appeared beside his twin.

"Fuck you and your overpowered ass."
