Conflict of interest

With time Temwani got tired of the lover coming to see her in the night. She begun to fall in love.

"How will i get him to be mine alone? i can not share anymore."

"I Wish i could leave but i can't do without him."

She begins to imagine his tender touch, the romantic moments they have together. But what pains her the most is that all those moments are just for a short while.

"I know what to do, his wife has to be eliminated from the picture." "I can't fail to keep her child," she convinces herself.

The greatest question is how.

Deceptive thoughts linger her mind the whole day as she runs up and down doing her chors. Undoubtedly they meet outside and she can't avoid her. But Mrs Mubu notices that her neighbor was in a very bad mood, being a woman, she brushed it off. It's normal for a woman to be Moody, she thought to herself.

That day Temwani never said a word to her neighbor because she was scheming something against her rival.

later in the day Temwani calls her lover and asked him if they could meet somewhere.

"Hello, where are you?"

"I just knocked off," he responded.

"Can we meet?" Temwani asked. He smiled, even on the other end of the call he could be heard stuttering due to joy.

"Yes, where do you want us to meet?" he quickly responded.

"Meet me at Sankjoe Lodge, please don't be late."

In no time Mr Mubu reached the lodge, it wasn't difficult for him to locate her because it was their usual place.

The sooner he reached, she jumped on him, embraced him with a warm hug. She made sure he felt loved and the whole world revolved around them alone.

"I couldn't wait for evening, you're toxic, i just had to see you early. Moreover, you have to snick out just to see me, so i have saved you the stress for today."

Mr Mubu blushed as though he was the woman.

"Ohh before i forget, do you have a brother who came to visit you today? he looked really handsome, and your wife was over protective."

"Brother! no, am not expecting any of my relatives anytime soon."

"Really? I thought he was and you could allow me to settle for him since you are taken." Mr Mubu got so upset, fuming to hear that a man come over to his place. Most of all, that Temwani wanted to leave him for another man.

"So you want to go? he asked.

Temwani saw the rage in Mr Mubu. "Just what i wanted, some jealous in him," she thought to herself. To calm him down she pulled him close and kissed him and Mr Mubu melted. "I booked your favourite room here, Mr Mubu looked up just to see the beautiful girl pulling him.

Mr Mubu couldn't wait to get home, he entered the house with a gloomy face, the anger could be seen even before he could utter a word. As usual the wife did all she had to, to welcome the husband but little did she know that he was actually upset with her. She tried to hug him but he pushed her away, " hey! what is wrong?" she asked.

He walked to the bedroom, and the wife followed but as soon as she entered her face felt hot from a slap which come with great anger. "Who came here today? you have the guts of brining men to my house" he scolded at her.

"What are you talking about?" she asked with a calm voice but in pain and while holding on to her chick.

"You want to play dumb right? not with me." He beat her up mercilessly.

The night passed, Mrs Mubu spent her night in the living room sobbing and trying to find the best sleeping position as her body was all in pain. She never knew how she went into deep sleep and finally started snoring, which also disturbed her husband who felt like coming back for her the second time as though the beating wasn't enough.
