Death God Among Mortals

It's dark I can't see, I can only feel a coldness that burns it's self into my soul.

I feel alone, tired, I'm just going to rest.....As Anpu rests in a vortex of darkness and death his soul moves to a mortal world so that the god of death can reincarnate and bring order to a chaotic world.

...

Fast forward to New York

A woman is giving birth to a baby boy ....

The doctor finally delivers the baby unfortunately the single mother dies in the process but not before giving the child a name Anpu .....

"Where am I I can't see, every thing is distorted after spending who knows how long in darkness I am finally free to see the light" as I inspect my surroundings I can make out the figure of a male in strange clothing of white and blue stained with what appears to be fluids of some sort. Looking down at me with pity I'm confused how dare he look at I ....who am I as I begin to panic my movement shows me the body of a woman who seems to be dead I can sense it along with a connection as if by blood that binds us that just disappeared. Strange as I see her soul wander to god knows where the doctors take me away....I slowly begin to remember my name coincidentally or by some stronger force maby my will allowed for my name to remain.

We shift over to the point of view of our male doctor ...

"It's a shame we couldn't save the mother and since she has no next of kin to care for the newly born we must give him to the state"

..... POV back to MC

As the male doctor passes me to a female in similarly strange outfit of blue I find myself losing consciousness.

.. POV change to young Female nurse ....

"Poor kid" murmured the nurse as she takes the child to a room for newly born. The nurse gets in contact with the appropriate athurities to transfer the child to a orphanage.

... POV change to Anpu...

As our young God of Death slips into his inner World he wakes up on a throne of bones. Noticeably the arm rest is made of skulls with horns and bone spikes. At the top of his throne a crown of fire lay and below the Main Characters feet are thousands no millions no trillions of subjects at his feet ranging from demons,dragons,humans,ghosts,ghouls,zombies,elves,dwarfs, and many more quite suddenly they all kneel and in a majestic manner all announce ...

""Master""... WE SERVE YOU EVEN IN DEATH....

all of a sudden the world freezes and fog blankets his army of trillions out of the fog emerge a row of ten skeletons. Again repeating there oath only with less grandeur and boom these skeletons with only white unblemished bones announce "master.. we serve you even in death".....Anpu at this point was very calm only confused where did all my subjects go. Just as he finishes his inner monologue out of the fog emerges a litch kneeling down he begins speaking....."my lord it seems your powers have weakened in your new form only I and a few skeletons are at your disposal. You must gather the energy in this world and train anew in order to summon more powerful warriors. All is not lost as even in our weekend form, we can still cultivate our strengths. You must tread carefully for this is a new world with unknown danger.... abruptly the whole world collapses and Anpu the god of death awakes to this new world.
