"Are you free after college?" Alexander asked Justin, and the latter shook his head.
"We were thinking of hitting the arcade," Justin said while munching his food before he leaned backward and tried to look at Evangeline, who was looking at the email on her phone.
She has been quiet ever since her argument with his brother ended, but then again, he didn't even know if she was the talkative type.
He doesn't understand why his brother was so against this girl either. His brother, who is usually so quiet and keeps to himself, never bothers with anyone's existence around him, actually argues with her.
Was it because they both have the same competitive personalities? Because they both have a sense of pride within themselves? Justin wondered, his gaze focussed on the girl, whose brows were knitted.
"What arcade do you -"
Seeing his brother sneaking glances at the girl, Alexander also leaned back and looked straight into Justin's eyes.
His eyes held a warning. A warning to not meddle with this kind of girl, and Justin sighed.
"You know just because you love me, you can't control my life," Justin said loud enough for everyone to hear, and Evangeline narrowed her eyes before standing from her place.
"I'll be back," she said, and Alexander followed her through his gaze, her strong form, suspicious.
What kind of activities was this girl really involved in? It was strange and curiosity piquing at the same time.
As Alexander was looking ahead toward the girl, he got a call from his secretary and looked at others before leaving the table.
"Excuse me," He walked to some distance and picked up the call.
"Sir, as you had said, I brought the information before the deadline. About the girl you met at the airport," The secretary said, and Alexander turned to the girl, who was talking to someone over the call with a calm expression, too calm to be true.
"If you have gathered information, place it on the table. Why are you calling me for such a small thing?" Alexander asked.
"Well, the thing is, sir. We didn't get much information about her," The secretary said.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Alexander asked.
"I have sent you the email," The secretary said, and Alexander didn't waste a single second in ending the call to look at the information.
He opened the email before narrowing his eyes.

The report ended and Alexander turned to look at the girl who was still talking with someone and narrowed his eyes.
What kind of information was this? Since his secretary took so many days to get this much information, Alexander was sure that his secretary didn't do a bad job on it and must've double-checked everything before handing it to him.
So the main question was -Why were major things about her unknown?
How the hell did she get it hidden? To get someone's background deleted or hidden from everyone's access, it takes a lot of effort and talent.
According to the report, her hacking skills are only mediocre, so how does she know someone of this level? And who is this person who did this for her?
The more he is trying to find out about this girl, the more mysterious she becomes.
It looks like he will have to keep a keen observation on her and even more on his younger brother, who looks like is becoming infatuated with her skills.
She is looking for a part-time job, right? Alexander hummed inside his mind before calling his secretary.
Meanwhile, Evangeline was talking to James.
"No. I am not. Don't worry. I have gotten everything covered. I haven't encountered anyone I knew in school yet. In fact, you won't believe me, but I have actually made some friends on my first day here. No, I am not lying. They are my roommates and their boyfriends or crushes," Evangeline looked at the table where everyone was smiling and laughing at something.
"Is he there too?" James asked, and Evangeline's smile paused on her face.
"I don't want to talk about it," Evangeline said before ending the call and sending the email back to Grey.
She returned to her seat and sat with her group of new friends.
"Evangeline, I haven't thanked you enough for what you did today. It means a lot -"
"I didn't do it for you. There was a selfish motive behind it," Evangeline said, and everyone paused while Alexander's ears perked.
"Selfish motive? What is that supposed to mean? Did you have bad blood with Tina before today? But she didn't look like she knew you, and you just arrived today," Sarah said, and Evangeline shook her head.
"It's not that. I just wanted to create a first good impression of Belle. I wanted her to like me. After all, she is going to be my roommate for the rest of the year. It's only good that she likes me," Evangeline explained, and the girls raised their eyes at her.
"How did you know I am your roommate?" Belle asked.
"Because you have a cute little photo with a pig in your hand at your desk in the room," Evangeline explained without shame in the world, and Belle blushed, making everyone chuckle.
"That was when I went on a trip to our farm in the village," Belle said shyly, and Evangeline hummed before leaning back in the chair.
"I don't know the other two girls in my room though," she murmured, looking at Justin from under her lashes when she felt his gaze.
Justin, who was observing her, immediately looked away, and Evangeline's brows quirked.
"Let's go and get over the classes," Liam said, and everyone stood from their seats before leaving.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Brandon, who wanted to eat something at the cafeteria passed by their table and paused when his gaze swept over the side profile of Evangeline.
"Bro, you okay? Where are you looking? Don't tell me you have a crush on those rich girls," One of his friends commented.
"It's not that. I just felt like I had seen her somewhere," Brandon commented before shrugging and walking ahead.
Evangeline, on the other hand, who clearly noticed him and had hidden behind Ethan's profile, breathed a sigh of relief.
Her little action, not going unnoticed by Alexander, who looked at Brandon and his group, and narrowed his eyes.
She was clearly hiding from them. But she returned from Italy after four years. So why? Could it be related to her past life?
