Chap 6: Amazo and talks

Man to copy Amazo's ability was a pain in the ass it took me a complete hour with all the fight and movements, i litterally had to hide deep underground or high in the sky so no one can see or notice me, i still had to be within a specific range and can't stay far away or the process will take even longer because the closer i am the better, i even tried to shut my mind and any sign of my existence at the site so the league won't question what was i doing there.

I was waiting for this moment for a month now just for him, i knew it was in the first days of August but didnt know when and where so i kept my eyes and ears on any signs and sounds and any appearances of the League, the moment i heard a commotion i directly flew higher than the clouds and took haste to his position i couldn't miss the chance i don't know if the two separate parts of him could give me anything and i couldn't risk it, so once the copy was a success i flew directly to my room in the montain. And now i have it hahah now i can copy Physiologies. Huff man this was the most stressful moment i had since i woke up in Cadmus, i didn't even think about staying around and copy captain Atom power i just busted out of there.

Haaah... 'Power replication' that's Amazo's power now i know what i said about physiology, yes he replicated power and not physiology but hear me out. He could replicate Superman, Martian Manhunter and the Flash. Now leaving Flash aside for the moment Superman and Manhunter powers are not something they gained later or activated through an extra gene only select few of their people have, they were born like this, the moment they were born they already had it and everyone from both races had it too, i can't just go and copy Superman strength or Martian telepathy, even the Flash, Barry is a human not a meta human, his speed comes from the speed force and Amazo copied his speed without the need to connect to said force, how broken is that?

Now this Amazo was just built and let out and was given certain orders and programming but in one of the justice league tv series there was a golden Amazo who defeated all the league members, that one adapted to the point he became all powerful now this one doesn't have any adaptation but he doesn't have the weakness replication too unlike the golden one and that's a plus in my book as i already have my own adaptation and when i fuse power replication and power manipulation together i will be able to copy or steal anything i see from anyone and i can see a lot of things.

I am not sure i can steal a physiology though, won't that erase them from existence? Need to test it in the future, should i hunt Lobo?

Meh, anyway my point is when the both power fuse i will be able to copy physiology by just looking at them and probably from a drop of blood but i need to test that too, it's something i felt the moment i land my eyes on Amazo and it have been proven true the moment i copied his power i just knew my power will take a huge leap, even my body feel like it wants it, i am litterally shaking inside the whole way back from the reaction the two power are having, they are even trying to merge without me doing anything and my body is aiding them!!

I didn't know it can even do that!!!

Better get to work i don't know what will happen if i leave it alone or how long will it take. I wonder what will happen if i copy homo-magi. Food for thought.

"Hello, Dinah, Manhunter how are you both doing?" I greeted both the leaguer who responded in kind.

"Hi, Zane it's been okay how about you?"

"Been fine thank you Zane"

"You should really rest you know, you don't have to train them with an injury and i don't doubt the kids will say no to that"

"Hmm, i should thank you for that actually they seemed to not mind to train with someone who's not you" Dinah giggled a bit even Manhunter smiled at that.

"Is that so, i feel hurt, i guess i should train them harder from now on, but how did you find them anyway i tried to train them individually sometimes but i am focusing on their teamwork more" i said acting hurt with my hand on my heart.

" They are good actually i expected them to kiss the floor directly and stay down but they suprised me till they eventually kissed the floor ofcourse, but beside Wally's antiques i noticed how calmer and more mature they are especially Superboy he seemed better after Superman talked to him" Dinah eventually smiled kindly at me impressed by my training and the change in mentality and we talked a bit more about training plans and schedules. It's good that the two sups talked i didn't ask him about it but i noticed his mood getting better in the last few days.

"I actually would like to thank you for your help with M'gann, she told me how you helped her adjust and talked with her telepathically and made her feel at home" said Manhunter joining the talk.

"Ah she told you about that, now i feel embarrassed, no need to thank me you have a kind niece and i enjoyed talking to her but watching those drama shows with her was starting to become a pain but don't tell her i said that" both of them started to laugh.

" i actually discovered i can do that after some meditation and training my mind, i remember how your mind brushed mine and tried to do the same so that happened" i lied, i knew she may slip or they will eventually figure it out so i prepared to say that, i don't need to actually lie but i don't have any obligation to tell Batman anything he can use against me beside it's fun to act all mysterious and wait for them to figure stuff out.

" Uhm yes i would like to apologize for that, i don't like to do that under normal circumstances but-" i cut him and said " No need to apologize i understand why you did it and forgive you, i am the one who told you all to check on Superboy and the whole decoy insident after all."

"Hm, thank you Zane" he showed relief after i said that and smiled again.

"Hey Zane, why don't you show me some moves of yours while we sparr?" said Dinah with a competitive smile on her face.

"You sure? You're already hurt and you may not be able to take my moves this way" i said with a smirk and saw how she gained a glint from me hitting on her, then smirked back and said "why don't you try me then?" while walking back to take position with a bit of shake in her waist. Hooh... isn't she with green Arrow, or ...she's teasing me? Heh.

I looked at Manhunter with a raised eyebrow, he looked at me back and shrugged, seems like that's her normal attitude.

"Well don't say i didn't warn you" and went to my position, we both took a fighting stance and as if we agreed with our eyes we rushed at each other at the same time.

I obviously suppressed my strength to human level, she sent a punch while i took a sidestep and sent an uppercut her way but she backflipped in a show of acrobatics, i didn't give her much time and was fast upon her i ducked and tried to kick her under her feet to take her down but she jumped again bringing her knee close to my face, i just leaned my head back and we both jumped back to make some distance and went at it again for a while punches were exchanged and legs and knees were thrown around, but she started to show some fatigue and her injury is getting at her so.." i believe we should stop here don't you think?"

She looked at me for a second sighed a bit than started walking our direction" you were not fighting seriously, you mostly blocked and counterattacked" she folded her hands under her nice *caugh* chest empathizing her toned abs ofcourse, but my eyes were looking at her in the face naturally i didn't take a look with my superspeed and saved the image in my mind without anyone noticing, no one have any proof on me doing anything, she seems pleased by what she observed, or didnt observe.

"Well obviously you are still hurt and need some rest, i can beat your ass after you get better" i told her with a smirk.

"Is that so, we'll see who's ass goona get beaten" she tried to sound fierce and angry with her eyes but her smirk told me otherwise. We three continued to talk more we discussed what happened about Amazo and about the team mission and other stuff then they went back, and i went to take a look at the monitor and read the file about the mission and think how the team will be doing, i already copied her sonic scream while fighting by the way, imagine making a mouth appear on my hands and screaming directly at your face. 'Deidara' will be proud.

[Mount Justice, 01:13 EDT]

I don't know if it's fate playing around here or if these event are just supposed to happen, i mean, Ivo still got Amazo, Superboy didn't dumb Robin this time but they still ended in the school even thought they did better than the original Ivo still escaped. Haah, should i get rid of someone important to see if fate will still play the same scenario but with someone different? Or will that be it? Could it be something higher that causing that? I mean there are some butterflies effect going around but still, I don't want to say names, i don't know what will happen then.

" Of course there's no shame in asking for help that's why the league exist because there are some problems even we can't solve it individually" said Batman

"Yes, i am actually hurt you didn't call me to join the fun and after what Balck Canary told me this morning it seems your avoiding me on purpose maybe we will need more bonding training session from now on?"

I said pretending to be hurt again but with a smirk on my face, the young team fiddled in place and suddenly gained interest in the floor.

"Ehm, before we even had a chance to ask, here, look familiar, you were following us, babysitting us, you still don't trust us" said Robin while showing an arrow his tone getting higher and higher.

The discussion continued like that where the kids mistook the arrow for speedy coming again and the League explaines they didn't follow them and speedy was still in rehabilitation. This got them confused but they just shoved it aside, while Batman and Arrow exchanged some looks.

After the young one left i stayed with the league and started with saying:" tell me what you will decide to do with our new archer friend, but till then i am interested in doing a mission and i have one in mind"

Everyone looked at me with raised eyebrows, they all know that i have no interest in being a hero even thought they know i helped around on my outings so they just waited for me to continue while Batman just being him looked my way not saying anything. So taking that as a cue for me to talk i said: " You know how i have been visiting different cities and talking to some professors and scientists here and there while you're spying at me right" some of them looked around embarrassed while the other looked at Batman wirh raised eyebrow who just shamelessly nodded so i continued " After the latest incident with Mister Twister i gained great interest in robotics and stumbled upon one Doctor Serling Roquette, she was quite hard to meet but i managed it eventually, it was interesting to talk to her she was quite enthusiastic and has a sense of humor" i started getting some looks and Dinah is actually giving me an all knowing smile, oh they misunderstood great, i did actually talk to her and copied her knowledge she sure is a genius, if i didnt see the stuff about The Fog i would have forgot about her and now that there's no Red Arrow someone has to save her and take that thing away from the light.

"She was kidnapped a week and a half ago and from what we talked about she revealed to me that she was designing a very high nano tech device but ofcourse she didn't tell what just that she's busy with it and about to finish so she couldn't find much time to talk in the last couple of times we met. At the university" i clarified while showing them her personal file.

"I was searching and investigating and found some leads here and there and i believe it was the league of shadows and i just need to go in and out with her so i will need you to find her some place safe to stay because they will definitly send someone after her again"

We talked about more details and about her safety while Dinah teasing me by repeating how i said take her out, does she expect i will get embarrassed or something? Women.

Author here, i know it might get confusing with Amazo and how Zane will be able to copy physiology like that. Just deal with it, not everything have to be logical you know, thses universes don't operate on logic beside it's a way to make my MC stronger you know.

But don't worry i won't just make him jump to the top in just one or two chapters there are still lot to do and he still wants to enjoy his life you know, he's not a power hungry guy it's all just out of necessity and fun so don't be suprised with what will happen in the future.
