Team vs Amazo

Batman stared at me. "We'll call the League; we'll take care of this," he said, looking serious.

"With all due respect, Batman, it was our fault to lose him. We want him back, and we're the closest ones," I said, with Batman staring at me.

"Okay, take care of it," Batman said, ending the call.

"That was weird, even for Batman," Wally said, with everyone nodding.

"A test. It is testing how we will beat it," Kaldur said, analyzing the conversation.

"I think there's a way, but it's Megan's weakness and it doesn't have to come out," I said, with Megan looking surprised.

"Megan, during your phase change, there is something they don't know. It makes you invulnerable and terribly unprotected. Let's say someone attacks you in the change. If the person leaves a weapon or their fist inside you, do you know what would happen when you phase out?" I said, looking very serious, to which she realized what would happen.

"She would be gravely injured when she phases out, of course, Megan," she said, hitting her forehead.

"The robot can go from hero to hero, but it doesn't take that into account. We just have to make it phase and someone with super strength hits it or leaves a bomb inside. When it goes solid, it will be destroyed from the inside," she said, with me nodding.

"Rest. We need to recover and see where the Robot goes. If we find the robot, we find Conner," I said.

"You know, I don't understand why you let him go," Robin said, while using her wrist computer.

"Sometimes, one learns when they're beaten up. They can only let go of all the anger they feel when they see that they can't do it alone," I said, knowing that Conner will learn the hard way.

"Wise words," Kaldur said, nodding.

"Hey, by the way, that's all you have on your body," Wally said, pointing to the scars that were quite hideous.

"That's a memory from the past, something I don't want to talk about, Wally," I said, with Robin punching him on the shoulder.

After 20 minutes, "The tracker is moving; hell, it's going to the Academy," Robin said.

"Well, up and running, I'm at 90%," I said, standing up, and my armor appeared. I took Kaldur, and we took flight.

Upon arriving at Gotham Academy, it was a mess with signs of a struggle. Conner was being beaten up. We felt something being smashed like concrete. "They're in the Gym," Robin said.

When I got there, I saw Conner fighting. "Kid Flash, take him out; he's going to finish him off," I said, looking at how Conner lost due to Amazo's abilities.

"Got it," Wally said, watching the beating and running to get him out of the way.

Robin acted by throwing a Batarang at the Droid.

"Entering Martian Manhunter," he said. Wally ran to the Robot, but before he could touch it, it changed density to solid.

"Entering Red Tornado," he said, generating wind and sending the three flying, hitting the wall.

Between him and me, I started shooting at him with both guns.

"Entering Martian Detective," he said, dodging them. Seeing that it didn't work, I stopped shooting and flew in his direction.

"Entering Captain Atom," he said, shooting a beam from his hand, making me take a few steps back. Wally took advantage and ran to the robot.

"Entering Black Canary," he said, launching a Sonic scream and sending Wally rolling. Conner attacked from the side.

"Entering Superman," he said, stopping his fist and throwing him against the stands. I threw myself against him, and we began to fight.

"Oh wow, this hero is new. Let's see what skill Amazo learns from you," said a man sitting in the stands.

I began to hit the Android forcefully. The robot grabbed me by the waist and began to squeeze while I pushed so it couldn't crush me. We were equal in power. When Conner saw all the damage they were doing to us, he looked down.

"Entering Black Canary," he said in a low voice. Suddenly, Amazo turned his head.

"Entering Martian Manhunter," he said, as a green arrow pierced him.

"Kaldur, Megan, attack Ivo," I said as Amazo sank into the ground and appeared near Ivo.

Conner understood and launched himself at Ivo. "You want to see me channel that Rage!" I yelled.

"Great, he's crazy again," Wally said, standing up.

"Maybe not," Robin said.

Conner jumped, hitting where Ivo was sitting. Ivo moved in panic.

"Amazo, Alpha Priority, protect me," he said as Amazo changed into Captain Atom and attacked.

Kaldur and Megan attacked Ivo, taking advantage of the attack with two shots. This caused Martian Manhunter to enter, and Conner ran him through the head with his fist. When leaving Detective Amazo, he lost his head in an explosion. Megan and Kaldur were dragged by several Robot Monkeys.

"Quick, let's take it apart," Robin said. We all ran and tore the parts off.

"Well done, team," I said, sitting down on the floor.

Conner seemed remorseful and looked at us. "Sorry for how I've been acting today. My anger and frustration got the better of me, and I lost my temper," he said.

"Dude, we all get outclassed sooner or later," Wally said, being understanding with him.

"Conner, we understand. Hell, tell me when you want to prank Superman, and we'll do it. But for now, let's take this to STAR Labs," I said, laughing.

In the end, we returned to the mountain at 1 in the morning. Batman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Red Tornado, and Martian Manhunter were waiting for us.

"Status report," Batman said.

"The Amazo android was subdued and disarmed. Then we took the parts to be analyzed at STAR Laboratories. Ivo, on the other hand, escaped with his Infiltrator Monkeys. When creating the technology, I consider it more dangerous than the android. In that sense, the mission failed completely," I said, detailing the mission as quickly as possible.

Canary looked at us. "Capturing the Professor will be a priority," she said very seriously. Ivo was dangerous if he created more Amazos.

Martian Manhunter crossed his arms. "But we understand that your mission encountered other complications," he said, to which I nodded.

Batman approached. "Complications come with the job. Your ability to handle them has impressed the League," Batman said.

"The whole league?" Conner asked.

Batman looked at him. "Over time, yes. You know that Kryptonians have very hard heads," Batman said.

"It's no shame to ask for help. That's why the league exists, because there are problems that even we can't handle eventually," Batman said.

"Please, if we needed help, we would never ask for it. It seems familiar to you. They were taking care of us, and they still don't trust us," Robin said, showing an arrow.

"It wasn't them. There was another person. Their heartbeats were softer, and it smelled like a very soft perfume," I said calmly.

"That means Speed," Robin said, with joy. Green Arrow took the arrow and took out one of his own. The tips did not match those used by the Green Arrow, and Speed's were triangular; these were more circular.

"No, it wasn't his friend. His rhythm was that of a softer woman and, as I said, a woman's perfume," I said, remembering what I felt, the heartbeat and the faint, very soft scent of hair perfume.

"A memory," Wally said, taking the arrow a little dejected.

Conner approached Canary. "I'm ready," he said.

"Good, because here I am," she said, nodding.

"Conner, you tell me, and we will leave this baby on the pillow. You will have a super fun and memorable hour," I said, showing a bright pink rock.

"Get that thing away from me," Conner said upon seeing the pink glowing stone.

"Oh, come on, does anyone really want to see Superman turned into a Woman for an Hour on Halloween? I said, with Arrow laughing.

"I'll take this, for some occasion, just an hour, right?" Batman said, taking the stone.

"Yes, that's why it's known as Joke Kryptonite. It was used at the beginning of the Kryptonian race, but it was all lost for obvious reasons," I said.

Thus ended the adventure with Batman saying goodbye, and everyone going to our homes.
