Chapter 96: Sylvia Cery's Transformation

H'el's black cloak clung to his back as he glided through rows of doors, along cold metallic corridors, heading towards the command center.

Approaching the command center, a voice filled the air:

"We were both young when I first saw you,

I closed my eyes and the flashback starts

I'm standing there..."

H'el slowed his flight to a halt, standing on the cold steel corridor, listening to the mismatched scene inside the command center. Ceri's voice didn't fit the song's mood, far from the lively and passionate tune it should have had.

"Love Story" was originally a mid-tempo ballad accompanied by a banjo and a guitar, swinging between cheerfulness and melancholy, with a refreshing musical style.

Ceri had altered the song, replacing Romeo with H'el and changing the scenes from the original context to depict their meeting at the Anchorage base. In her performance, she used a cheerful, hopeful tone to vividly describe their past encounters.

A smile tugged at the corners of H'el's mouth, and he couldn't help but chuckle internally. With a smile on his lips, he didn't interrupt Ceri's singing, patiently waiting until she finished the song before entering the command center.

Ceri, who had just passionately sung the final line, "When I first saw you, we were both young," looked up to see H'el entering from the command center's doorway.

"H'el, you're back!"

In the starlit projection, Ceri wore black shorts and a black bandeau, exposing large areas of her excited, fair skin. Behind her, ten thick, reddish tentacles stretched out like a peacock's fan, extending straight and tall. Spotting H'el, she excitedly waved her hand and greeted him.

H'el, who had found the song amusing at first, now entered the command center with a puzzled expression.

"You sang beautifully, but why did you transform yourself like this? A ten-armed squid?" H'el asked, his face displaying an odd expression as he scanned Ceri, who stood confidently with her ten thick tentacles and exposed fair skin.

He didn't really have the necessity to turn Ceri into a Kryptonian, nor did he insist on dictating how Ceri should transform herself. It was entirely up to Ceri to decide her own physical form and abilities.

However, when he saw Ceri as this stunning and enchanting woman, curvaceous, with flawless fair skin and not a single pore or mite in sight, her appearance was exceptionally pleasing. Yet, behind this appealing exterior, she had ten octopus-like tentacles, each as thick as a human thigh, with suction cups that were expanding and contracting, giving off an unusual vibe.

Ceri playfully tiptoed and spun around like a ballerina. Her ten tentacles behind her coiled together as she spun and then blossomed out like a vibrant display on her back once she stopped.

Suddenly, H'el felt that this scene had an unconventional kind of beauty. (A/N: Bruh...)

"Isn't it unattractive?" Ceri's ten tentacles slithered comically behind her like snakes, and she asked, "But tentacles are really convenient for performing biological dissections, you know?"

H'el pondered for a moment and realized that it didn't look bad at all. Ceri was naturally beautiful, perfectly in line with human aesthetics. Even with the addition of ten tentacles on her back, it simply added a touch of exotic allure.

It was just that he hadn't fully adapted to this visual change and was still stuck with the idea of a human form.

"Not really, it's rather strangely charming," H'el replied as he walked to the center of the console. He pressed a key labeled 'S' and pulled it out. Turning back to Ceri's tentacles, he asked, "I thought you might choose a fusion of multiple superpowers."

"This is a fusion of multiple superpower genes," Ceri said excitedly.

H'el held the 'S' key and turned to look at Ceri's tentacles. He hadn't directly used his X-ray or microscopic vision to examine Ceri's genes, so at first glance, he thought the tentacles were merely for physical functions.

Upon closer inspection, H'el noticed something different. The first tentacle on the left was actually a Kryptonian tentacle, distinct from the others.

"Cough, let me introduce you properly," Ceri cleared her throat and then controlled the first tentacle on the left to reach out towards H'el's hand, gently touching the Kryptonian appendage.

"This Kryptonian tentacle possesses all the abilities of Kryptonian bloodlines."

Ceri manipulated the Kryptonian tentacle, creating small sonic booms in the air with 'crackling' sounds. The suction cups on the tentacle revealed inner large eyes, and the pupils inside the eyes contracted. H'el could tell that the eyes on the tentacle possessed Kryptonian abilities such as X-ray vision, microscopic vision, and enhanced long-distance vision.

Furthermore, inside the Kryptonian tentacles, there were organs that could compress gases, allowing them to release powerful acid and freezing breath from the suction cups.

Not only that, each tentacle was equipped with another set of smaller tentacles inside, capable of extending from the suction cups with super-regeneration abilities.

H'el began to grasp Ceri's intentions and nodded in understanding of the ten tentacles she had created.

"Will the other nine tentacles also become a different genetic bloodline?" he inquired.

"No, the tentacles are only energy conduits. The Kryptonian tentacle is an extra one. I plan to equip all the suction cups on every tentacle with superpower genetic triggers. Currently, the properties of each tentacle are the same. I'm still researching how to transform common traits in cells into exceptional abilities. In the future, the tentacles will possess over hundreds or even thousands of superpowers," Ceri explained.

H'el glanced at Ceri's Kryptonian tentacle, and with a flip of his hand, the AllSpark appeared, spinning in his palm. He controlled the AllSpark to produce a metallic cell cluster.

"Let's examine this type of cell," H'el said, forming a metal ball about the size of his palm, weighing around five kilograms, and tossed it to Ceri.

He believed that Ceri couldn't resist the temptation of the metal cells and would undoubtedly transform one of her tentacles into a metal cell tentacle.

Ceri's Kryptonian tentacle gently caught the metal ball behind her. She held it in her tentacle hand, looking helpless. "I can't conduct any experiments; I've used up all the nutrient solution. I've constructed seven hundred different cell variations based on existing biological theories, just waiting for you to bring back the nutrient solution for cell cultivation."

"Try using Kryptonian bloodline cells," H'el suggested.

Ceri, puzzled, controlled her Kryptonian tentacle, and from the seventeen suction cups on the tentacle, her large eyes emerged, activating X-ray vision and microscopic vision. She looked at the metal ball on her tentacle.

"Metal... cells?" Ceri's eyes widened in surprise. Metal cells? She involuntarily began her observation and research. While she observed, four of her tentacles at the bottom, directly replacing her movement, swiftly exited the command room and headed towards the biological research laboratory.

H'el was about to remind her that this substance didn't require a biological nutrient solution, but Ceri's tentacles had quickly whisked her away. He could only helplessly stop his reminder.

Turning his attention back, he began to infuse the energy from the AllSpark into the 'S' key.
