Chapter 72: Protons in the Atmosphere

Amidst the swirling dust and black smoke, Megatron's firm and resolute footsteps echoed, as if he had emerged unwaveringly from a battlefield drenched in blood, arriving in front of H'el.

He knelt on one knee, clenched his right fist, and pounded the ground with all his might. His massive head, part of his mechanical form towering ten meters in height, lowered respectfully as he spoke in a deep voice, "I have dealt with the disturbance for you, my master."

The ten-meter-tall mechanical titan, the mighty and audacious Megatron, willingly submitted himself to the carbon-based life form barely two meters tall.

If it weren't for the profound knowledge of Megatron's ruthless and tyrannical nature, anyone would think that the towering ten-meter mechanical figure before them was a truly loyal and courteous knight.

But Blackout believed that Megatron would eventually turn against his master.

He was certain of it.

Blackout, who had come with Megatron, had his own calculations running in his mind. However, when he saw Megatron kneel down, he showed a great deal of tact and followed suit, lowering himself to catch a terrifying glimpse of something.

"Megatron, you do cherish your subordinates."

H'el, with his eyes fixed on the atmosphere, had a distinct muscular silhouette outlined by his black combat suit. His body exuded a graceful and dynamic presence, with clear lines accentuating his physique. His black cape fluttered in the hot and tumultuous battlefield.

Using microscopic vision, he searched for the protons released into the Earth's atmosphere by humans.

Before coming to the Transformers' world, H'el had the following intentions:

To arrive in a world where he could bask in the sunlight, gaining the power to change his size and restore the Kryptonians of Kandor City.

To find a world where he could discover a method to counter Brainiac.

To reach a world where he could help in the construction of a cosmic battleship, accelerating its completion and shortening the time it took for the vessel to be ready.

The Transformers' world perfectly met his requirements.

The AllSpark could help him confront Brainiac and expedite the completion of the cosmic battleship.

Therefore, upon arriving on the Transformers' Earth, H'el, with his powers, imprinted the manufacturing process of proton laser etching and the command to release it into the atmosphere on all the high-tech companies, laboratories, and advanced nations around the globe, achieving this through his telepathic abilities at a speed of 1000 Machs.

Ordinary humans, even those at the highest echelons of cunning or warriors with unwavering determination, had no way to escape the commands issued by H'el.

The entire Earth had become an unusual domain under H'el's control, as it was producing proton laser-etched circuits and releasing these rudimentary protons into the atmosphere.

Hearing H'el's emotionless words, Megatron's left hand began to transform. The steel claws on his left hand retracted in layers, and elastic metal columns emerged from the arm's opening, forming a cannon muzzle. Along the edges, a magnetic rotating force field emitted a dazzling pre-launch glow, while the ominous cannon mouth radiated an intense and scorching light.

"He is not worth mentioning. He is only needed by you, my master, to carry out tasks," said Megatron, loyal as if he were a medieval knight of righteousness, honor, sacrifice, valor, honesty, and unwavering devotion to guarding his master's interests.

No one could refuse a ten-meter-tall, metal-clad, and dependable knight like Megatron.

"If his repulsive appearance bothers you, please allow me to execute him first!"

Megatron said mercilessly, as the cannon muzzle began to emit a searing and intense energy radiance.

Blackout's scalp tingled, feeling as if the energy fluid of the basal cells of his brain's skin had evaporated due to the heat of Megatron's cannon.

He was really going to do it!

Blackout clenched his fists tightly, producing a harsh and grating sound as steel met steel. If it weren't for the fact that this carbon-based life form before him looked too terrifying, he would have been ready to face off with Megatron right away!

He had fought Megatron before!

It's just that he hadn't fought Megatron like this.

"That won't be necessary. You're right; I do need someone to protect me."

H'el glanced briefly at this battlefield filled with flames, black smoke, dust, and the cries of humans. The sweltering heat warped the space, and he looked towards the highway where a convoy was approaching.

"Do not let anyone disturb me."

H'el, carrying the AllSpark, ascended gently, hovering at an altitude of thirty meters.

The nanomachines in his battle suit began to enter H'el's body, establishing a connection with the weak magnetic fields generated by his cells. The internal electron movement within his cells became even more intense.

Beneath the black battle suit, his muscular contours slowly revealed pronounced veins. The skin not covered by the suit, his neck's major arteries, abruptly thickened. Sinister veins spread like viral filaments across his handsome and majestic face, distorting his once fair countenance into something grotesque and horrifying.

A vast biological magnetic field, amplified a hundredfold in breadth, intensity, and precision by H'el using his black battle suit's nanotechnology, extended towards the atmosphere, making contact with protons.

In the densest part of the atmosphere, the troposphere, approximately 14 kilometers above the Earth's surface, clouds and mist began to churn and change.

"Yes, my master!" Megatron replied, his tone resonating deeply and heavily.

He slowly extinguished the cannon pointed at Blackout, revealing a cold steel visage and emotionless eyes, displaying no discernible emotions.

Behind him, Blackout couldn't help but emit a disdainful snort, expressing his displeasure towards Megatron.

As their gazes followed H'el ascending into the sky, Blackout was taken aback. He was astonished to see the heat emanating from H'el, expanded a hundredfold compared to what he had observed before. It was as if this individual was inflating into a miniature star.

Was this person about to transform into something like a white dwarf, neutron star, strange matter, metallic hydrogen, or even a black hole?

Blackout's vision blurred momentarily, and he nearly blacked out. He had never encountered such a peculiar carbon-based life form with such an extraordinary level of power.

A humanoid that walked with the might of a star! And it was conscious.

Even the AllSpark appeared minuscule in comparison.

Perhaps the AllSpark possessed immense power, with its folded space, source code, energy, and might surpassing H'el. However, the AllSpark remained an inanimate object, a mere possession, easily manipulated, exploited, and seized by someone.

Seeing a life form like H'el with the power of a star was an entirely different experience.

It evoked feelings of shock, awe, and then fear in Blackout. The fear would continue to spread within his consciousness, dominating his thoughts. This relentless fear would make every life form approach this being, who walked with the power of a star, with utmost caution.

No wonder Megatron kneeled so quickly!

"Blackout, drop that dumbfounded expression of yours," Megatron commanded. "Stand up; we are about to face an old friend."

Megatron stood on the high ground, looking down at the winding road. In the distance, a Peterbilt 389 Heavy Duty truck with a paint job of blue and red flames approached.
