In just less than ten seconds, Captain Lennox of the Army Special Forces sealed the fate of fourteen comrades who had fought alongside him.
He held an HK416 automatic rifle, hiding behind cover with bewildered eyes. The teammates he had jokingly interacted with not long ago now lay dead from their bullets. At this moment, the rifle grip in his hand was damp with sweat, and he didn't know whether he should continue shooting at the "being" in the sky.
Captain Lennox realized that he couldn't react faster than the bullets.
Two high school students involved in this incident, Sam, transformed into a blood mist, leaving only his clothes behind at the scene.
The girl curled up in cover, tightly covering her mouth, shedding tears the size of peas, too afraid to make a sound.
Tom confirmed that Dr. H'el was extraordinary and cruel. He disappointedly stayed silent, hiding behind cover.
For a moment, the scene fell into silence, with only the echoing tremors from the ground remaining.
The smell of gunpowder had not dissipated, and the steel supports were making unpleasant creaking sounds.
The huge spotlight, originally illuminating the hundred-meter-high AllSpark, now resembled a colossal waterfall, casting light onto H'el's black figure.
H'el remained suspended in the air, his black cloak billowing. In his left hand, he held the AllSpark, while his right hand's five fingers emitted a biotic magnetic field. His fingers moved continuously, manipulating Bumblebee, who had been turned into a ball.
"You guys are not as straightforward as biological bodies."
In H'el's hands, Bumblebee was a puppet. He was infiltrated by the biotic magnetic field, which passed through his entire body, forcing him to unfurl from the ball. H'el examined the severed mechanical joints, the silicon-metal-based cells, and the extinguished core of the spark. However, genetic information still lingered, hinting at the possibility of recovery.
With prolonged contact with other core Sparks, the AllSpark could be reignited, restoring residual genetic information and supplementing it with new data.
This was a unique regenerative ability of Transformers, akin to the regenerative cells in human bodies.
Moreover, the Sparks within metal-based cells were so powerful that they could infect other metals at will, turning them into metal-based cells and integrating them into their own bodies.
From his theoretical deductions, H'el speculated that the AllSpark was most likely a Spark within a metal-based cell left behind by a super-sized Transformer. By reverse-engineering and decrypting data from Bumblebee and the observed Megatron, he gained new insights into the AllSpark.
If that were the case, then the super-sized Transformer could be a creation entity similar to Gods of Earth.
However, he quickly dismissed this speculation because a Spark within a single metal-based cell couldn't sustain the long-term creation of an entire species. Transformers didn't possess the ability to mate and reproduce the next generation. Their offspring could only be manufactured.
He believed that a powerful Transformer, utilizing its genetic information genes and partially elastic contracting metal elements, incorporated folding space. It converted the genetic information genes into source code, forming the AllSpark, which could reproduce Transformers.
Of course, in other accounts, the AllSpark floated in the vacuum of the physical universe from the dawn of creation, constantly searching for various metal elements within the physical universe. It was transcribed by the source code and arranged according to the Higgs composed of multiple segments of billions of bytes in an unknown language algorithm released from within the AllSpark, creating Transformers.
However, H'el didn't entirely believe this; it was more of a reference.
H'el was convinced that this thing had been manufactured and couldn't have occurred naturally with the universe's Big Bang.
Its purpose was just too strong to be a product of coincidence.
H'el began his experiment.
He started guiding the source code within the AllSpark to transcribe it through the folding space channel he had previously recorded.
A current and vibrating wave of energy burst directly from the AllSpark in H'el's hand, guided by him, heading toward a yellow construction vehicle.
The yellow construction vehicle trembled, its internal metal elasticity increased, turning metal into metal-based cells. Inside, it constructed a core Spark, and countless Sparks within metal-based cells formed a network, converging into a coordinated large Spark in its chest, with electronic information flowing and converging into consciousness.
Then, the yellow construction vehicle began to transform. It rolled in place, its windows became its chest, and a mechanical head emerged from within. Its wheels became legs, and multiple parts of its yellow surface turned into armor, transforming into a 3.5-meter-tall mechanical humanoid.
Unfortunately, this was a Decepticon with a fixed destruction program. As soon as it appeared, it had a strong desire for destruction. Its eyes glowed red, and it carried a hand cannon formed from its transformation, firing wildly and startling the few people in hiding, making them scramble to dodge and escape.
H'el observed the personality code transcribed from the yellow construction vehicle. Just as he was about to delete parts of the transcribed personality code and encode his own psychic powers, creating a Transformer with his thought imprint, a streamlined fighter jet flew out of the dimly lit corridor.
It split in mid-air, the aircraft head revealing a mechanical head, its wings folding from under its ribs, and the entire aircraft body retracting under elastic metal, revealing a powerful mechanical form with no resemblance to a fighter jet's appearance.
Megatron placed one foot on the yellow construction vehicle, knocking it down. He pressed down on its head, effortlessly pulling out the head of the yellow construction vehicle. The red signal lights in its eyes went out, and sparks flickered along its spinal circuits as they were unplugged. Megatron crushed the mechanical head with his massive hand.
"Release the AllSpark, you foolish carbon-based—gah!" Megatron's authoritative grip on the yellow construction vehicle's head silenced its mechanical voice. He spoke with a deep, resonant tone, his chest puffed up in arrogance and a habitual disdain for everything.
However, as his optics scanned H'el's figure, he was momentarily stunned. What did he see? Through thermal vision, he saw this carbon-based lifeform in front of him, seemingly weak with heat like a star, but that immense heat was contained within a body less than two meters tall.
Through electromagnetic vision, he saw that even within this terrifying heat, there were still smoothly ordered magnetic field lines emanating from H'el.
What did this signify? It indicated that even with a star-like level of heat, this carbon-based lifeform could still maintain precise control. The degree of control was so immense that even the magnetic field remained perfectly ordered, without any disturbance.
Transformers could readily scan and compute differences in power. To put it simply, Megatron's optics scan estimated that H'el possessed a strength exceeding tens of millions of tons, enough to obliterate Megatron with a single blow.
At this moment, Megatron, fresh from his icy prison and ready to conquer, felt colder than he did while encased in ice.
In an instant, he contemplated turning and fleeing, shouting, "Decepticons, retreat! Retreat!" Escaping wasn't shameful; in battles against the Autobots, he had fled and regrouped multiple times, never losing his iron will, persevering despite setbacks, and never giving in to despair.
If he could escape now, he'd run, but an invisible force, like an immense hydraulic pressure, pressed him down from all directions, rendering him immobile. Even when his jet thrusters roared, producing over five hundred tons of thrust, equivalent to the power needed to launch astronauts into space from Earth, he didn't budge.
Five hundred tons of thrust surpassed the F-119-PW-100 augmented turbofan engine equipped on the F-22 fighter jet, which generated a mere 18 tons of thrust. Yet, Megatron's five hundred tons of thrust did nothing to free him.
This was an unimaginable powerlessness!
However, Megatron was still Megatron. As the leader of the Decepticons, he had endured countless battles that failed to break him. Even in this moment of utter powerlessness, he refused to yield. He possessed a calm, remarkable wisdom, and an ability to find a glimmer of hope in moments of crisis.
"I understand the AllSpark!"
