Chapter 1- New Reality

Being reincarnated in DC is already a bad outcome, being reincarnated into Earth-3 where the evil version of the Justice League rule is even worse and being born as the son of the "hero" Alexander Luthor also known as MAZAHS, the power hungry unholy mix of SHAZAM and Lex Luthor, makes my life a recipe for disaster.

I was reborn as the son of Alexander Luthor and Lana Lang with incredible intelligence either gained from my father or the more likely reason of inheriting the intelligence of Valeria Richards.

I was quite exited when I first gained clear consciousness at the age of 1 but those emotions quickly gave way to incredible fear as I did not have any of my mentioned powers. It was then I came to realize that I would likely gain my powers only during or after puberty as that is when Mark Grayson awakened his powers and when Gwen Tennyson awakened her heritage and even when Valeria awakened her psionic/reality based powers and not just her intelligence.

The powers I gained from Ohkwang or rather the Jade Emperor in God of Highschool could inside me but for the life of me I couldn't activate it. I tried many ways to unlock my powers but nothing worked. I regret all those chuunibyou actions that I tried and of which I will never speak of again.

The items that were to be with me are not suitable for consumption in my current state so I just spend my days using my considerable intelligence to advance my knowledge reserves in any possible field.

Luckily, my perks are active and working properly which was a great help to my scaredy cat mind. Indomitable Will was really a great help in keeping my sanity especially if this Earth follows the comic timeline, because as far as I remember my younger half-brother, who is yet to be conceived, would somehow become the vessel of Darkseid and then proceed to kill Zeus and then go to confront other multiversal beings, namely the Anti-Monitor.

Shapeshifting is not really powerful right now and I don't want to risk using it and changing something that effects my growth permanently. After all don't want to lose this handsome face. Coming to DC and not getting into a relationship with either the heroines or the villains could be taken as an affront.

My mother in this reality doesn't really care much for me. For her Alexander was a fling to make Ultraman jealous which really didn't work and so she moved to Smallville to take of me. More like dump me to her parents and laze around and act as a hotshot in this small town. She too had abilities which she got from a Genesis Fragment but she lost that power long before she had me.

She didn't really like me and just tolerated me because she had to take "responsibility" for her choices as said by grandma Laura Lang, who was a pretty decent human being despite being born on this Earth. She died though, a few year ago in a car accident and then Lana, who could inherit all her parents money and properties decided she had taken enough responsibility and then kicked me out.

So I ventured out into the vast world at the tender age of 6, though luckily I had memories of a previous life and knew the workings of the world. Deciding not to trust the government in an already evil version of Earth I struck out on my own.

A few years have passed and I am now nearly 10 years old. When I reached the age of 7 memories and knowledge that wasn't mine came to my mind. I realized that all this knowledge was that of Valeria Richards.

So much for me busting my ass of studying all these years.

Using the memories and knowledge I started creating different kinds of tech for myself and even sold some on the black market for extra cash.

In the memories that were downloaded in my mind there were various ways for me to upgrade myself but most were not usable for one reason or another.

Some would likely not work on me since I am not entirely human. Some had the possibility to be just flushed out of my body either directly or when my Viltrumite powers awaken. Some that would actually work would just give similar powers to that I would already recieve and some might cause me not to awaken as a Viltrumite at all.

So among the various methods the one that was the most viable and the one that I felt would be the best in both short term and long term was the Extremis or rather the upgraded versions of the Extremis.

First the Extremis basically would give me a superhuman physicality alongside a regeneration factor that could theoretically rival Wolverine, though not in speed but in function. Fine control over my body and even ability to rewrite the cellular structure of my body. Possibly biological immortality. Appearance alteration or low level shapeshifting. Enhanced brain functions and even technopathy.

Of course the original did not have all of these functions but I worked on it for the past 3 years and I finally perfected it.

Making it was much harder than I forst thought as even though Extremis is named as a serum, it is actually use of nanite technology to alter biology alongside the other necessary biological components.

I lay down in the lab I created at the outskirts of Smallville and get ready to inject the Extremis.

The lab and many of my current projects were only able to be built due to me copying Hiro Hamada from the movie Big Hero 6 and creating a neural transmitter alongside the microbots. Using the microbots saved a lot of money and time in my experiments as I could do all my work alone and faster.

The lab and even many of my projects were built with the help of the microbots. The microbots themselves were not that hard to make as I just had to input the design into a 3d printer. The neural transmitter though, that was the harder part, but it helped me figure out how to do the same in the Extremis.

The lab is an underground facility and even substitutes for a bunker. I created it not only to safely experiment but also to basically hide from the world. The lab is very high-technical and powered by a fusion reactor made emulating Dr. Otto Octavius.

I haven't gotten around to create an AI yet but I have built a Virtual Intelligence System that helps in managing the lab.

As I lay down and strap myself on the bed I instruct the VIS to inject the serum.
