moving on

I saw wonder woman holding the guy by neck " how could you do this to another human.." and start ranting. The entire justice league and some soldiers were present there along with my sister.

" That's enough Diana let him go Diana they can question him" Superman said.

Suddenly some smoke start coming out of the man and some mirages start forming around everyone present and start tormenting them except me somehow.

I took a gun from soldier near me and shoot the man two times and mirages stopped. I aproch him and pointed the gun on his left.

" Why did they die. I just want my wife and kids back, you all can help me I just want them back" man said.

" Trevor don't! he needs help" Batman said.

"please just kill me I don't have any reason to live anymore" he said.

" Steve don't " Superman said

"don't do it" other league members said.

"you are already dead. I am not getting my hands dirty by you blood" I want to kil him not because the torture I or Steve went through but because of the look in his eyes but I can't let my emotions get better of me.

I start wobbling and almost fall till some soldier came and picked me up.

"This is all because of you" my sister Tracy said " you already broke his heart, his self worth as a man. He became joke in front of entire community" she yelled.

"That's enough" I said.

"but"

"I said that's enough" there's a part of me that pains me, the Steve part but there's also a part of me that just feels nothing.

"Let's go" I walked towards her with some difficulty and put my hand over my sister shoulder and she starts crying while hugging me.

After some time I reached hospital and got the treatment I needed and got some sleep. And when I woke up I found the one person who I really don't want to see right now.

"hi Steve, they said you got cracked ribs, some broken fingers and internal bleeding. They said it was a miracle that you were even able to walk and put on some fight".

" I am a navy seal Diana, even though we are mortal and don't have godly strength we are still prepared for much worse. This was nothing" even in my previous life this was nothing new. I got caught by terrorist had my head hit by Ak butt and I still look in their eyes and somehow say it doesn't matter if you kill me I have killed way many of your kind before. But how did I die, I was sure I was not killed in a mission.

" you got hurt because of me"

" oh common Diana" at this point words suddenly start coming out of my mouth.

" what happened to Minerva was not our fault"

" but you almost died"

" I died almost hundred times" more then two hundred If I count my previous life.

" I am a government agent, a soldier. Atleast don't lower my dignity by saying this. And why are you even here. I thought you ended things between us with your new alien boyfriend heck you don't even end things you just start ignoring me"

" Diana I am not hurt because you left me for someone who is hated by all men on this planet. I am hurt because you didn't clear anything between us and just threw me like a used tissue paper".

" you know what he's more human than many other people on this planet. And why are you still connected with the Justice league, I don't need your protection anymore" she said.

" Listen to me Diana. He will never be human. Unless you don't understand what hunger is, what getting hurt means, getting sick means, unable to adjust your body in certain environment is. You will never be human. As for why I am with the Justice league".

" Because I like it. I like the life of a soldier. When you put your life on the line for someone and you life is literally hanging by the thread, they feeling that I get during that time is what makes me feel alive" well I don't know about Steve but I sure do it for that.

"you can leave now I need rest so I can recover and go back to the field and yeah if you don't want to see my face you can start looking for new lisan now I mean sure I will become a joke again for few days in news but then again that is what part of being human means".

"and one more thing Diana he will never sacrifice his secret identity for you. If you try to take him away from that he will definitely leave you. I wish you luck and happiness"

I turned my face and can hear her crying and then she left.

After some time I woke up and looked myself in the mirror and got shocked because I didn't see myself after waking up as Steve Trevor and I look like blonde version of Soldier boy from The Boys TV show.

I know this is not what you expect from this chapter but please tell me how did I handled the break up
