Sam stared down at the crinkled parchment in his hand, secretly delivered by one of his pirate men. The King of D'treroh was dead, killed by people of Eli'ak for Jezmerine's death. As much as he had wanted justice, even he wouldn't have stooped so low. Bynx was tormented by his own demons made by the people he loved most. He may not have had parents that believed that withdrawing love would make their child stronger and prepare them for the world, but he had seen his half brother Eddy suffer the distance of being born from a different mother.
