"Who did you say my dad ran off with?" asked Yin Qin.
Yin Ying said with a smile. "Xiaoqin, I'm not trying to upset you, but you know well how your parents' relationship has been over the years. Why should they live under the same roof if there's no love? They kept up appearances for your sake for years, but you're an adult now. I think you should support your father if he wants to find his own life. He isn't that old yet."
With that, she made a friendly move to pat Yin Qin's shoulder.
Yin Qin sidestepped.
Clearly, he did not want Yin Ying to touch him.
Unfazed, Yin Ying quickly withdrew her hand, "Anyway, it's best you stay out of your father's matters."
"I certainly won't interfere in my father's affairs," retorted Yin Qin, "But if you let my mother suffer, I won't just let it go."
He left these words hanging and turned to leave.
