Chapter 15

"It's m-my father," Suni whispered to Valente as she recovered from the shock. She closed her eyes and focused. The redhead came in front of her protectively and also gave her time to manipulate her wings.

"Hand her over, Red boy."

"You're not even her father. I don't smell the same blood."

Her wings erupted from her back and her eyes opened hearing his words.

"What?"

"Don't listen to him. I promise I'll treat you well from now on. Everyone will like you.--" Chester said, totally changing his tone to a sweet one.

"No, I didn't want everyone to like me. One person would be more than enough. And you're not my father?" Suni cut him off by letting out the words, in a completely calm way. But, she was breaking inside and Valente could feel that still standing in front of her with a stern and angry expression.

"That is not true!"

"IT IS!" Valente growled in his wolf voice and killing intent shaking the whole floor. That was the man, in front of him, the nasty king that hurt Suni.

The voice caused, Chester and his men to drop to his knees even though they are the same rank alpha as the redhead. For some reason, Suni didn't, maybe because it was not for her.

"Who are my parents?" Suni asked with teary eyes.

"Y-Your mother died and I am your father!"

"Your blood doesn't match. The smell doesn't match, not even a bit." Valente uttered, glaring at Chester.

The black-haired omega with beautiful wings peeked at her so-called father, holding Valente's bicep. "You're lying..." Tears dropped from her eyes. "You lied!" She raised her voice. "You abused me! And you lied! What my brother said, is it true!? Did I destroy the kingdom? Who are my parents? Why do I have dragon wings? Why do you want me now!?" She yelled her heart out at Chester surprising everyone in the room. Chester gulped still on his knees.

"Well, Why don't you ask him instead?" Chester replied. "He is using you too." He pointed at the alpha in front of her.

"You are the key to the treasure," Valente said, in all honesty.

"W-What are you saying? Why am--?"

"Suni, listen, It's not what you think. I just got to know about it yesterday when we got here! I never used you, trust me."

Suni sighed, trembling. The omega could not handle more. "I hate everyone!" She whispered and flapped her wings, getting away from them. Valente yelled her name out to stop her, but it wasn't enough to stop her.

"Damn it!" He glared at Chester. His eyes glowed red as he snarled and used his magic to create a huge amount of fire to end them. But he stopped himself. He wouldn't kill but he'll torture.

Sighing angrily, he created a red dungeon somewhere in the forest and captured them in it. They were helpless, even the king was not useful.

Now, He could finally go and find Suni.

At first, he thought only the rouges knew about the treasure hidden in dark shadows but it turned out that everyone does and everyone wants it. He didn't want it anymore. He just wanted Suni and wanted to be by her side, always. The treasure was useless now, Suni was his treasure which he found almost a month ago. The real gem for the red-headed alpha was her.

He closed his eyes, clicking a map in his mind as he tried to find her smell.

The omega's wet face was full of scratches and bruises. She fell over from quite a height.

The atmosphere around her was so gloomy. She just wanted to roll over somewhere and die just so she could be away from everything. She had apparently destroyed a whole kingdom and she doesn't even know about it. And what's up with the wings when she had no magic. The thing that hurt her the most was, Why didn't Valente tell her about her being a key to the treasure. Was he just gonna use her? Is that the reason why he said he loved her?

Every damn thing was so puzzling. What person doesn't know who their parents were? how they were they born? What were they? Suni knew nothing, nothing about herself or even her life and surroundings.

She cried and cried until she couldn't anymore. She sniffled, wiping her tears while shivering. It was snowing heavily, where she was. She had no idea where she was. It was cold. It was like a dessert but of snow.

Suni sneezed and flinched her face and her body hurt a lot. Her teeth chattered as she looked around trying to see a place to cuddle up. She hated herself for missing Valente and his warm embrace. She hated herself for loving him so much. Tears dropped down, as she thought back to what happened, immediately turning cold from the temperature.

She trembled, whispering, "I don't wanna be weak anymore. I'll show everyone I can- I can be even stronger, even strong than them."

"Suni..." A voice called out.

Suni knew the voice very well. Her gaze turned to the direction of the voice. The redhead was standing there with a guilty look on his face.

"Stay away." She whispered, coldly and sniffled.

"I'm sorry...I can explain, I promise." He exclaimed, his eyes were watering. He never wanted this to happen.

"Okay..." She sobbed. "Explain then."

He breathed out in relief, "I heard it yesterday when I was carrying you. Some people were whispering about you and I happened to overhear them. I wanted to tell you but you were exhausted and cold. I know that sounds like an excuse and you think that is why I told you that I want you. But it's not. I was confused and I am still confused, I thought of telling you after you figure everything out since we both already had a lot on our minds. I am sorry. I should have." He said watching as Suni's look softened into a relieved one. She shifted her position and sat there with her legs folded back, touching her butt.

"I trust you...I am sorry that I reacted-"

"It's totally fine!" He said with a slight smile. "It was my fault, anyway." He sighed. "I love you. I love you so much. Don't leave me. I feel so much for you and I can't help it...I want to be with you forever. So...please, please be mine. I will treat you like a princess, like a queen, my love." He said, truthfully, walking closer to her and dropping down to his knees. Cupping her face, he left a sweet peck on her forehead, watching her big beautiful eyes which were slightly surprised, and her cheeks that were flushed crimson.

She closed her eyes and kissed him on the lips feeling him kiss back passionately.

"Stop this right now!" A voice yelled at them.
