Stalker

It's been 2 weeks since 'Starlight's promotion video. But Ae-rin has not been able to recognize the presence she felt that day...

"Ah!! Why is this line so hard...I guess I'll need to eat something to get this right."

Ae-rin went down to her fridge to check if there's and food and drinks.

Creak!...[fridge opens]

"Ah! Yes, just like everyday I again forgot to buy the groceries yesterday." She shouted with frustration.

She looked at the clock and thought, "It's still not very late, I should go and buy some groceries."

She changed her dress and went outside. It was very cool outside. She thought, "Damn...why is today's night so cold. It wasn't this cold yesterday."

Clomp...clomp! [Footsteps]

As she was walking down the road. A familiar yet strange presence was following her. She felt that someone was definitely following her. She suddenl looked, but there was no one in sight.

With some courage she finally made it to the nearby convenience store.

Whoosh! [The glass door opens]

She then quickly brought everything that she wanted and went to the counter. After paying the money, she looked outside in case anyone was waiting for her, but there was no one. So she quickly ran to her home.

Creak! [Door opens]

Thud! [Door closes]

"Huff! Huff! What was that weird sensation that I felt. It was like someone was following me, but there was no one. Who could it be?" She thought to herself.

She was a little bit scared but didn't mind it much. She put the groceries inside the fridge and made some ramyun to eat for the night.

She went to her room upstairs with the noodles and a bottle of milkis. She called Hana and told her everything that happened to her today.

"Don't worry about it too much Ae-rin, if you think about it more you'll only end–up getting more paranoid. I'll come over tomorrow, okay!" Hana told Ae-rin

"Ok unnie, goodnight."

Click! [Call ended]

She slaps herself on her face and says,"Hmpph! I can't be paranoid, also unnie will be coming tomorrow so there's no worries, maybe it was just a cat or dog."

There was nothing wrong the next night. They were even outside with the other members of 'Starlight' for a long time.

So Ae-rin thought that it was just her imagination since she was stressed out for the concert as to not mess it up.

After a week...

"Whush! Mmphh! I'm all set for the concert. Let's see, we have a week to start the main rehearsal, okay no worries it's gonna be the best." Ae-rin said with confidence.

She looks at the time and it was already 4:30 pm. "Oh shoot! I need to go for my evening run."

She quickly changes into her running fit and went out for the run.

"Today's target will be 3 miles (about 5 kilometres). Let's go." She said to herself.

At the park...

"Huff! Huff! Woah! It was very tiring." She sat down on a bench and thought.

Suddenly a man of about 5'8 came and sat beside her. He was wearing a black hoodie with a track pants and running shoes.

He offered Ae-rin a bottle of water and said,"How are you doing,Ae-rin?"

She looked towards him, shocked and gasped, "Oh! Eun-woo, its been a long time. I'm good, what about you?" She said with a smile on her face.

"Well, I'm also doing fine. I heard you are now an idol."

"Yup, be sure to come to the concert." She told to Eun-woo.

"Ok I'll come." He said.

She received the water bottle and took some sip.

"It's been a very long time since we met right. It was around 3 years ago when you were 15 and I was 16. We went to many long runs, remember!" He said.

"Yeah, I remember those times. Anyways when did you move to Seoul?" Ae-rin asked Eun-woo.

"Amm...I think about a month ago." He replied.

"Oh! I see."

"Which University are you attending? You said you wanted to become a psychiatrist." Ae-rin asked.

"Well it might dissapoint you but, I was actually thinking of becoming a professional boxer. I even have a YouTube channel called 'Eun-woo's vlogs ' with 853k subscribers, where I show my boxing training and give tips to beginners. Being a psychiatrist was just a thought of the younger me." He said with a little smile while looking towards her.

"Eh! Is that so, then I win right? Since I became an idol which was my childhood dream." She told Eun-woo while thumping on his back.

"Yes, you win."

"Ahh! Okay then I'll get going, meet you tomorrow here, bye." She left...

Eun-woo looked at her and waved back as she left with a little smile.

As Ae-rin was getting near her home, she started to feel somewhat dizzy.

"Huff! Huff! Argh! My head, it hurts and why am I feeling nauseous."

She grabbed her phone and tried to call Hana. But, she was unable to do that, before she could dial the number she fell on the ground.

Thud!...

Then a car came. It was a white BMW M3. A man came out of the car and approached her. He was wearing a black hoodie, black track pants and shoes with a cap and a mask. He grabbed her and put her on the trunk of the car and took her with him...
