Chapter 15
Alanna was feeling something very strange in her chest. She didn't understand that this was due to Faolán getting very sick from the kiss Tyr had given her. If she were a werewolf, she would have felt the same pain as Faolán; however, being a vampire, she wasn't able to feel the same thing, she just got a very bad sensation.
She felt dirty talking to him, which she thought was ridiculous. She and Faolán weren't really together, so it's not like she'd cheated on him. 'And, yes, you are his female!' a voice said, in the back of her head. Alanna felt very guilty and she remembered that werewolves feel pain when their mates get physically involved with any other creature.
Alanna was in the tub, with the water up to her neck, when she got up quickly and went to her bag, which was lying on the bed. However, she immediately noticed that the small bag was light and half empty. She put her hand to the zipper, then realized it was already open. Her cell phone wasn't in there.
