The ocean had humidity with the smell of salty water that made anyone seasick who was trying to stand, A young man standing near the hull was trying to see the clean sky view with clouds trying to decipher changes in shape every sec.

The man in his 40s was at the helm steering the wheel to control the movement boat in the direction northeast of the endless ocean.

He was trying to find the usual spot for the best fishing that had become his daily routine. He knew fishes behavior just like he had raised them in his backyard pond.

The boy's name is Victor Smith was studying in middle school and had given his 8-grade final exam, he decided to spend his summer vacation in japan with his uncle who had been a fisherman since the first time he had known him.

Mr.Henry was an expert in finding a good catch that would give him a nice stable income amount of money; with it, he can relax for a year or tour other countries.

Mr.Henry told victor that he had to come with him to catch some fish. At first, the idea pleased him due to a misunderstanding that they would go fishing near a local pond residential block well like a fishing park in which people come to camping and cook or barbecue/bbq. They would stay the night stargazing and it would be a relaxing time," the perfect summer vacation" yet the reality was clearly showing him the cruelty of life.

victor's uncle called him and said,

"Hey Champ take the mop and bucket and swift the deck there is also soap liquid use it so that the deck shine like a bald head"

"well kid; if you do not finish work by 8 there will not be breakfast for you"

Victor watched his uncle giving him orders like a pirate captain to Powder Monkey, after thinking for a few seconds he decided to get to work or else there won't be a meal for him.

he said, "Yes uncle henry, I am on it so please do not worry about the deck"

He watched the time on his solar watch; it was a new model that was released last month at a high price. The tech company that introduced this product was owned by a friend's parents, they had given him this watch at his birth two weeks before he came to Japan. The company known as Campbell tech was named after CEO Campbell couple, there are simple folk who live with their son nick.

The watch had features like storing songs, e-books, weather forecasts, and GPS in-build which did not need internet or data, it was able to record voice and video with 10 TB storage with a 24 GB ram Ultra Dragon processor.

The most important feature was a cartography application that can make a map with the help of an in-build scanner and lens which also helps identify things like plants, animals, tools, insects, body temperature, calories needed, footsteps, etc, and other features.

After finishing the assigned work victor want to eat his breakfast in the cabin where his uncle was waiting for him to come so that they both could eat.

The food had corned beef hash and eggs and rice-a-Roni and eggs that became a great meal after hard victor had done on deck. he exclaimed that he was flying in the sky to heaven, well the joy was short-lived because of a sudden problem that presented itself was indicated by Sonar and the mechanical equipment which became alert while crying warning,

"beep.....beep.....beep.....beep.....beep.....beep"

Victor's uncle stood up and run towards the control panel and he confirmed that was an emergency alarm for storms or hurricanes which approached the ship within a 3 km radius. victor quickly followed behind his uncle, they both could see a hurricane approaching ship on the Sonar.

Both the plate fell from the table with a crash and a cracking sound filled the atmosphere with the rising tension in the air and victor's heart felt like someone's hand was squishing it.

Victor checked his watch was clearly showing a red alert code!! Which meant indicating clear proof of the predicament that he was facing now.

Victor thought moved toward sudden reflecting on a memory that he had Kept deep inside his head, he had felt amusing about the situation of a story named we're not afraid to die and the fact that he was in the same situation made him feel imbecile, stupid, moron, dimwit, knucklehead, squarehead, dumbhead, dumbass and all the words he knew about it cursed himself on laughing on characters.

The path he's thought had entered a dangerous zone that would make him look foolish in front of death that had come knocking on his door. thoughts were filled with negative emotions jumbling scenes and scenarios of an unfortunate end that was eating up the rational side mind. he was filled with the unbearable weight of fear, sudden voices started whispering hideous and repulsive things in a gruesome manner tormenting him mentally as well as physically this came with the realization of true fear of an unknown.

But a tap on the shoulder made him wake up from the suffering nightmare which had made turmoil of emotions that could make anyone broken.

Someone's brown eyes saw into his; he knew that was his dear uncle henry, then his uncle said to him in a hopeful tone,

"Hey son keep yourself together we both are going make it alive"

when heard those words made him stop he thought they were in chaos.

A feeling of hope rose within that helped him push forward to escape with his to safety after a few seconds he said,

"yes uncle henry"

Just three words assure his Uncle henry that he was with him.

His uncle moved to the emergency cabinet and took out the life jackets, a box, medical kit, rope, emergency supply, and a knife.

The knife was a seax knife with the size of a chopper and the weight of a camp knife. It had an engraving of an old language that victor had not seen in his life.

His uncle lowered the lifeboat with his hand victor knew that it would be very hard constantly because the boat was moving, when the boat touched the water a splash sounded confirming it was safe.

the storm had come close to nearly 400M victor's heartbeat had become fast his uncle told him to hold the rope tightly after tieing the rope around him, and he has lowered it with great care gently putting him onto the lifeboat.

the lifeboat had a boat-like shape with a small shad built for the storage with some food supply was stored in it, a few tools, a survival guide book of small which kept in an air tie box.

he carefully kept the things from his uncle in the boat and the mysterious box with engraving with a wolf-like logo that give an ancient feeling, after some thinking about it as a lucky charm.

a sound broke him from his thought; it was a thunderous roar that reminded him of his uncle then he call.

"Uncle henry come quickly the storm approaching us"

But the reply that came to a shook him from the core, shock was too great for a young boy like him the words kept ringing in his head that were,

"I cannot come with you boy because there are some things that are very to me important that stop me from coming with you. Keep that box safe with you, goodbye young man"

after that, he pushed the lifeboat opposite direction toward the vast ocean.

victor did not know what to do now that the hope that was given was broken. but the fear remained with him and it followed him like a shadow.

But with a sudden movement of the boat, he hit his heat wooden plank and he lost consciousness the boat kept moving forward with him.

the sky looked like a dark hue with black clouds expressing the sorrow of the boy who was unaware of the fate that befalls him.

after a few days passed he open his eyes to see that he was alone in the vast ocean. After sudden pain, he starts using the paddle to move in one direction with the help of a compass on his watch.

for a half day, he paddles but the exhaustion that has built up through time makes him lose consciousness. but after a day of rest, he regains his consciousness and sees a piece of land the excitement gives him a rush of adrenaline that makes him start paddling faster than before he behaves like a hungry beast who has finally found its prey but when he touches the land all the energy leaves his body and he falls deep carefree sleep which he has long for.
