Chapter 41 - Death Tree Organization

Skalain leaned forward, his voice laced with curiosity. "Jareth, considering the tensions between Tower of Black Sun and Void Star, which organization would benefit the most from a battle or further problems arising between the two?"

Jareth's gaze shifted momentarily, his expression thoughtful. "It's a complex situation, Skalain. Both organizations have their own interests and ambitions, and their rivalry runs deep. While a direct battle between them would undoubtedly lead to losses on both sides, there are factors to consider."

Skalain furrowed his brow, eager to delve deeper into Jareth's insights. "What factors are we talking about? Are there any specific gains or advantages that either organization would gain from such a conflict?"

Jareth's eyes met Skalain's, and his voice was tinged with caution. "Void Star, despite its darker reputation, has its own network of influence and resources. If a battle were to break out, they might seek to exploit any weakness or vulnerability in the Tower of the Black Sun's structure. They could aim to weaken their rivals, perhaps even gain control over certain territories, or expand their sphere of influence."

Skalain absorbed Jareth's words, his mind racing with the implications. "So, Void Star could potentially use this opportunity to seize power and establish themselves as a dominant force within the magical community?"

Jareth nodded gravely. "Indeed, Skalain. They have long harbored ambitions to challenge the Tower of the Black Sun's supremacy. A clash between the two organizations could provide them with a window of opportunity to further their own agenda."

Jareth took a moment to collect his thoughts before responding. "There is an organization called Death Tree located in Obsidian Keep. Death Tree is a lesser-known organization, but their influence should not be underestimated. They specialize in the intertwining of plant magic and death as well as death-plant hybrid creation, harnessing the powers of both life and death. They reside in Obsidian Keep."

Skalain's interest was piqued even further. "So, how does Death Tree factor into the tension between Void Star and Tower of Black Sun? Are they aligned with either faction, or do they have their own agenda?"

Jareth's expression turned contemplative. "Death Tree has remained relatively neutral in the ongoing rivalry between Void Star and Tower of Black Sun. However, they have been known to exploit conflicts to their advantage, using the chaos as an opportunity to expand their influence and gather resources."

"The organization is not as big as Tower Of Black Sun or Void Star, but just below them when it comes to the number of mages in their organization, but they have more complex and secret magic in their arsenal."

Skalain leaned back, absorbing the information. "If Tower of Black Sun and Void Star were to engage in a battle, Death Tree might see it as an opening to assert their own dominance and increase their control over the magical realm. Increasing its rank when it comes to the power of organizations"

Jareth nodded, his voice carrying a note of caution. "Indeed, Skalain. We must be mindful of Death Tree's potential maneuvers. They possess a unique blend of magic that can be both captivating and dangerous. We cannot allow them to sow further discord and exploit the existing tensions."

Skalain's determination hardened. "Then it becomes even more crucial for us to find the truth behind Elliot Ken's murder. By uncovering the motives and the true culprit, we can prevent a potential clash that might inadvertently benefit Death Tree."

Jareth's gaze met Skalain's, a sense of urgency flickering in his eyes. "So, I believe the reason you asked me this question is because you think that there is another organization that creates these problems, especially the murder of Elliot, to create problems between two organizations so that they arise from their conflicts."

Skalain clenched his fist, his resolve unwavering. "Yes, precisely. From what you have told me, Death Tree is a smart organization. If they killed Elliot Ken using some sort of soul spell, or, as we talked about, "Soul Sickle," it is more than likely that they know Tower Of Black Sun will blame Void Star for it, and a conflict will arise. They will be benefiting from the battle between two organizations bigger than them and trying to get bigger."

Jareth's voice held a note of admiration. "You are a monster, Skalain; you know that right."

Skalain just laughed and could not help but think. "I am from Earth; this kind of political behavior is not strange to me."
