Chapter 7

The next day Akino ask Miach to update his status. Miach agreed and drop a bit of blood onto Akino's back. He was not as surprised about his growth due to his skill.

Akino's Status: (I'm just showing the stats not the skills and magic)

STR: H-115

VIT: I-50

DEX: I-75

AGI: I-80

MAG: I-35

Akino nodded his head at his stats and was satisfied. Not as fast as he wanted but good enough. He got dressed and prepared for another day of grinding. He now knows how the goblins fight so it should be much easier. Strange he didn't encounter any kobolds but he just shrugged his shoulders.

He was walking towards the dungeon but decided to check in on his advisor and maybe get a new map for the floors since his got destroyed yesterday. He walked a little longer and soon arrived at the guild. He entered and waited in line for his turn. Once it was his turn, he got what he needed and decided to head out.

"Make sure to take care of yourself down there" Azumi said. Akino nodded his head and walked out of the guild. He headed towards the dungeon and arrived not to long later. He entered the first floor and decided to grind here for an hour and that's what he did. Then he headed towards the second floor and repeated the process except this time he finally encountered a group of kobolds and got ready to fight.

The kobolds charged at him and attacked him. He side stepped the first kobold and slice it in half. The other kobolds raised their swords and charged at him. Akino grabbed his sword and used his magic Lightning Slash. Several arcs of lightning flew out and killed the rest of the kobolds. "Well that was anticlimactic" Akino said.

He continues to kill more kobolds and goblins even on the third floor. He also encountered a new species that tried to ambush him. The dungeon lizard yelled and tried to find another way to ambush him. Akino used Flame Lance since he saw another dungeon lizard hiding on the ceiling. The Lances flew and pierced the lizards and set them on fire. Soon they turned them to Ash. He took a breath when suddenly he was slashed from behind. He managed to turn around and pull his sword out.

He got cut across the chest but was able to retaliate and slashed the third dungeon lizard that was hiding. He immediately looked around the area and once it was clear he cast Moon Goddess healing on himself and sighed. He continues to walk down to the fourth floor which is his limit for now. He saw a couple of adventures and what he assumed to be supporters and just continue his walk.

A few adventurer's were eyeing him but otherwise they left him alone except for a few who decided to follow him. Once Akino entered a secluded area he called out to the fools who were following him. Three men stepped out with grins on their faces. "Look boss it's a lone elf, why don't we capture him and sell him for some profit". Thug 1 said. "Let's just kill him and be done with it" Thug 2 said. "Hand over all your valis and stones and we might let you live" the leader said.

Akino noticed from the symbol on their armor they belong to the soma Familia. He heard a lot of no good things about them so he doesn't mind getting rid of some trash. He rushed towards the first thug and swung his sword at him. Thug one blocked him while thug 2 attacked him from the side. "So it's the hard way huh" thug 1 said. Akino disengaged from thug 1 and dodged thug 2.

These guys are trash but they do have decent teamwork not the best but just enough to be annoying. Lightning Slash Akino yelled as the thugs tried to dodge them. A few arcs hit them but nothing to serious but enough for Akino to decapitate one of the thugs. "ZACH!!!! You Bastard" Thug 2 yelled.

Thug 2 started to swing wildly no longer showing any kind of skill. Akino was disappointed and decided to kill him. He swung his sword and disarmed the thug and then stabbed him in the heart killing him.

"So you managed to kill those trash" the leader said. "They were useless but at least they slowed you down". Akino readied his sword but was not prepared for the speed the leader showed. He got slashed across the gut and then punched into the wall.

Akino coughed up blood but got ready for the fight. He rushed towards the leader throwing a few daggers at him and trying to skewer him with his sword. The leader blocked the daggers and parried Akino's blade aside. Akino used the momentum of his body and managed to land a cut on the guys forehead. Blood flowed down and covered one of the leaders eyes.

The leader laughed and decided to get serious. He instantky appeared in front of Akino and swung his sword downwards. Akino blocked with his sword but the weight was too much and ended up being cut on his shoulder with his own blade. Akino decided to get serious to and used Darkness Embrace. His entire body was covered in darkness and his pupils became black with black veins around his eyes. (Kinda like when the Byakugan is activated)

Blood started flowing slowly through his eyes and immediately kicked the leader in the stomach. The leader backed off and what he saw frightened him a lot. Akino not caring about his reaction rushed towards him with speed he normally wouldn't have. He appeared before the leader and swung his sword upwards. The leader tried to block with his sword but Akino's blade sliced through it like butter and cut him very deeply diagonally across the chest. "I-Impossible" the leader whispered before he fell over and lost consciousness.

Akino smiled a dark smile and was able to turn off Darkness Embrace. His eyes went back to normal. The aura of darkness dissipated and he was left exhausted. He healed himself but suddenly got dizzy so he stopped knowing he was close to mind down. He cut the leaders head off and collected their stones and valis. He ended up getting 75950 valis and 200 stones. with his own 455 stones knew he had a great haul.

He decided to head back to cash in his rewards and relax.
