[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]
Third Person POV
Orario.
...
...
As his complexion began to gain color, everyone could see who the man before them was, flying as his magic circulated around him with incredulous looks at his real identity, appearing at such a critical moment. Almost everyone within the time magic globes remained unconscious, only Ryuu watched Lucius beside her in disbelief, a bit surprised as though she had been frozen within that strange magic and didn't seem to know how to handle it, while Lili, Welf, and Mikoto were unconscious, Bell kept one eye half-open seeing Lucius with some recognition.
Be it their enemies, the inhabitants of Orario, and the deities, all focused to gaze at the mesmerizing vision at this moment. Lucius is in a dominant position in the sky, the scarlet red cloak he wears vividly contrasting with the pale blue of the skies above Orario. The cloak is heavy and majestic, with a white, fluffy collar that frames his neck and accentuates the nobility of his stance. His hair is short, a soft golden blonde with his characteristic star on his forehead, his expression is serene, but his eyes are those of a strategist and warrior, anticipating the moves of a chess game yet to be played. His neck is adorned with a complex necklace, with a pendant that looks like a coat of arms or medallion, suggesting status or a significant achievement. His posture is one of absolute control, a perfect balance in the air that defies gravity.
The image of Lucius flying, with this spectacle of light and color around him, offers a unique and magical view that will surely be remembered by all in Orario. As Lucius emerges in the sky of Orario, a wave of surprise and anticipation reverberates throughout the city and battlefields. He is there, imposing and mysterious, his cloak fluttering in the wind as he floats, surrounded by the time orbs that contain his fallen companions, creating a unique vision that captures everyone's attention.
In the streets of Orario, people are paralyzed, looking at the screens with expressions of shock and admiration.
"It's him! It's Lucius Drakenar, the level 2 mage from the Hestia family!!" someone shouts, their voice lost in the crowd of exclamations and murmurs.
The narrator, with his ever-marking voice, breaks the silence that ensues with the revelation. "Ladies and gentlemen, the unexpected has happened! Lucius Drakenar, the enigmatic mage of the Hestia Family, emerges in the skies of the castle in a way never seen before!" he exclaims, his voice filled with a mix of incredulity and fascination. "This man, whose presence until now was a mystery, floats above his enemies with his family inside those strange blue orbs."
The inhabitants of Orario begin to stir with excitement and speculation.
"But how? Was Lucius hidden all this time, preparing this impressive magic?" asks one, his voice trembling with the emotion of the moment.
"Can he turn the tide for the Hestia Family?" another wonders aloud.
"Of course not, his family is almost defeated at this moment!" One says firmly.
"But look at these strange things, he's flying! He also made all the members of his family disappear! That's not something common to do, I've never heard of magic that does this kind of thing."
"Lucius!!!!! He appeared, look he showed up!" Tiona screams with joy at the Loki headquarters, the twilight mansion.
"Hahahahaha. He appeared at such a critical moment, I must say the boy knows how to make an entrance!" Gareth commented joyfully.
"But he's flying... how is that possible..." Lefiya commented, looking incredulous at the screen.
"He couldn't do that before... what's happening... What is that magic he's using to hold his companions?" Riveria asked incredulously with a type of magic she couldn't identify, it was unprecedented, her mind was shocked, although Lucius surprised her by creating his own magic with insights from her, getting new spells was something totally unbelievable to her and Lucius seemed to have released a new magic that never appeared in this world, how should she not be more shocked by what happened on the 27th floor.
"HEEEEE!!!" Riekling, who stayed at the Hostess of Fertility when the war began, celebrated Lucius's entrance. (Author: I forgot to mention Riekling before, I committed a crime!)
"NYAHH"
"NYAHHH!!" The waitresses seemed to dance with Lucius's entry.
"Good boy..." Mama Mia smiled at the screen.
"That guy finally decided to show up..." Heimdall spoke with a dangerous glint, and Apollo growled upon seeing him, since his last experiences with that mage were anything but pleasant.
"Lucius!!!!" Aphrodite shouted excitedly with Lucius finally appearing.
"I thought he would never show up..." Demeter had a happy smile on her face.
"LUCIUS!!!! He came. I knew he would come!!" Hestia was shouting and crying at this moment, seeing a glimpse of hope amidst the despair after watching her family being massacred.
Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the Heimdall and Apollo Families look up at the sky with a mix of surprise and uncertainty. Loras Forhe frowns, his mind working frantically to understand this twist. "Lucius... so he finally decides to show up," he murmurs.
"It's been almost a month since I've seen you, captain, since that banquet, I wanted to have arrived earlier, but I had some problems, I hope you don't mind that..." Lucius commented calmly.
"LU-CI-US!! NYAH!" Carina growled at Lucius, despite her surprise with this kind of entry.
"Lucius..." Lidsey commented incredulously at Lucius.
"Tsk, you finally decided to show up..." Lidy growled.
Lucius, aware of the fixed stares on him, maintains his calm and determined posture. He doesn't need many words to express his intentions; his presence speaks for itself. Slowly, he begins to descend toward the battlefield, the time orbs circulating him like mystical protectors, he doesn't go to the ground, remaining a distance of 20 meters in the air looking at all his current enemies.
The city of Orario, the Heimdall Family, Apollo, and the gods wait in silence, holding their breath while Lucius is in the air descending a few meters.
"You've changed a lot... you were... the weak one we abandoned," Loras decides to break the silence, his voice laden with sarcasm. "But even with those tricks, does that change anything? Can you still deal with your no-family at all?"
Evelyn, level 3, who was ready to fight earlier, says, "So the little useless one finally decided to show up after all," she says, a mocking laugh escaping her lips. "Do you really think you can take on the Heimdall Family alone?"
"It's good that you came, this is the perfect moment for me to avenge our last encounter-Nyah!" Carina Lix, the second level 4, growls, sharpening her claws.
Lucius looks down, at the faces of those who once despised him. "I didn't come back to seek acceptance or revenge from any of you," he begins, his voice firm and unshakable. "I came to end this once and for all, if you all went your way, I would never remember your existence again, but since your gods are insistent, I intend to settle our debts today once and for all."
Huiigy, level 3, frowns, clearly annoyed with Lucius's confidence. "So you think you can challenge us? You think you can come here and defeat us, alone?"
Lucius smiles slightly, a determined gleam in his eyes. "Yes, I can defeat all of you alone." He simply states this leaving all of Orario surprised with his confident words.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! What confidence, what will happen from now on, my heart is jumping with expectations!" The narrator shouted excitedly.
"I AM GANESHA!" Ganesha jumped to the side.
"Ganesha-Sama, this is not the time for this!" The narrator reprimanded him.
Clustered around the magical screens, the city's inhabitants watch the scene with a mix of shock and curiosity. They murmur among themselves, comments and speculations bubbling in the crowd.
"He was from the Heimdall Family, wasn't he?" asks an older man. "From what I heard, they treated him very poorly because he was the weakest of all."
A young woman, looking with admiration, responds: "If he really was one of them, the change is remarkable. From rejected to alone threat... that's like a story of the ancient heroes!"
Groups of young adventurers look at each other, impressed. "Did you hear what he said? He thinks he can defeat the entire Heimdall Family alone. Is that insanity or pure confidence?"
"Lucius..." Rose looked incredulously at the screen in the guild along with her colleagues.
Children, looking up at the figures on the screens, ask with bright eyes: "Mommy, will he win? Is he like the heroes you read about in stories?"
"How exciting, Nyahhh!!!" Anya Fromel shouted with joy.
"Hee..." Riekling beside her looked at her summoner master with respect.
"This... this is so cool!!!" Tiona seemed on the verge of crying with emotion.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Really!" Gareth laughed with joy.
"Tsk... this guy..." Bete commented with a click of his tongue, but he cracked a small smile of recognition at that moment.
"Lucius..." Riveria murmured.
"That mommy thief... he's so cool!!!" Loki yelled where the gods were; she was torn between hating Lucius and admiring him with such an exciting scene.
"Lucius..." Heimdall growled.
"Lucius..." The same word came from Hestia's mouth, but there was emotion; she was incredulous at Lucius's audacity, even knowing his past madness.
Lucius hovers above the battlefield, a solitary figure against the darkening sky. He observes the Heimdall Family and the remnants of the Apollo Family below him, each pair of eyes fixed on him in tension. Taking a deep breath, he begins his speech, his voice resonating with a new strength and determination.
"I, Lucius, once known as the weakest among you, return not as a supplicant but as a challenger." His voice, clear and strong, echoes across the battlefield. "You judged me inadequate one day, scorned me, and discarded me. But it was this exile that forged me, that transformed me into the mage you see today."
He pauses, allowing his words to sink into the minds of all the ears in the city.
"During my journey, I unlocked secrets and mastered my art of magic. I crossed challenges that you can't even imagine, each of them making me stronger, wiser, and more determined. Now, I return not for revenge but driven by emancipation. I come to definitively break the bonds that link me to my old family, the Heimdall Family, freeing myself from the shadows of the past to tread a new path under the light of my own destiny."
Lucius raises his hands, and the blue spheres around him begin to pulse with increasing intensity. "I declare here, on this battlefield, before all of you, that my goal is to be recognized as the Mage King by the entire world. My power, my will, and my magic will be the proof of my right to this title."
With a dramatic movement, Lucius clenches his fists, and the blue spheres disappear instantly. The wounded members of the Hestia Family have been taken to a safe place, outside the castle walls, away from the danger of this confrontation that will soon begin.
"What remains now is between us, it will end today once and for all!" Lucius commented and takes a small pause.
In the city, the narrator, shocked by the declaration, first shouts. "Ladies and gentlemen, did you see that scene?! So cool!!!!"
The man speaks again on the microphone. "Did you also hear that? Lucius Drakenar has just proclaimed himself the future 'Mage King'! But what does this title, this status he wishes to claim, mean?"
He pauses again. "Mage King... that's not a common term in Orario or even in the records. Will it be a new position of power? A claim to magical supremacy perhaps never before seen?"
Silence falls momentarily as everyone processes Lucius's statement and the sudden disappearance of the spheres.
Back on the battlefield, Lucius continues, his voice now a powerful roar that fills the air.
"I will face all of you, alone. So let's begin!" he finally announces, the final fight between the two sides will begin.
