Lucius POV
Dungeon, Eighteenth Floor.

...
Dungeon, Eighteenth Floor.
Closing the Status screen, I stood in front of the cliff.
"Let's test this now and see how it works!" I said to myself.
[Magic Spell, Lesser Magic Aura!] I conjured.
My eyes glowed in purple as I was enveloped in a blue aura, illuminating my entire body.
"Am I a super saiyan or something now!?" It wasn't a super saiyan aura, as the energy was going up a few meters above me, but it was pretty cool, reminding me of Goku and the others.
'This should consume my mana, if I didn't have my ability; let's see my limit here!' I exclaimed.
I began trying to release more mana into the aura; the energy became even more violent, causing Riekling to step back and shield his eyes as the wind around me intensified with the force of the visible energy.
"I can get more!!" I exclaimed and released more mana/mental energy into the aura.
The aura became even thicker, making my little goblin be dragged by the wind. The pillar of blue energy began to shine brighter and thicker around me, reaching almost 10 meters in height, with my magic assuming level three status.
"Hahahahahahaha! Feel my power, mortals!" I let the madness of the power sensation take over my words. This spell wasn't offensive and quite useless in most magical fields, except to show your magical strength to people. However, it was visually so cool, as it basically made you demonstrate your power as a mage.
Third person POV, elsewhere.
While Lucius was in ecstasy, overwhelmed by his new power, magic-sensitive adventurers felt his aura too.
"Riveria! Can you feel this too?" said the small Lefiya, just arriving at the camp after returning from the city.
"Yes, it's him again," said Riveria, looking towards the magic aura.
Aiz, who was with them, remained quiet.
"Yes... Are you going to him?" said Lefiya timidly.
"He caused an explosion once; we better check. Luckily, he's not in the camp. His magic comes from a few kilometers north of where we are," she said, looking at the small elf, who was his apprentice.
"I know some don't like him, like you, but it's better to look, and I'm curious because I've never seen anyone release a magical aura like this. Maybe it's a new spell!" said Riveria, quite curious, as she was a nerd in magical terms.
Aiz and Lefiya followed her as they left the camp, saying they had something to do for people who couldn't feel magic so easily.
After some time, getting close to where Lucius was, they saw something never seen in their lives, a blue magical energy rising into the sky!
Getting closer, they saw that this energy decreased in size but covered his body and reached 3 meters in height.
"What is this? Is this possible? Releasing your magical power like this, Riveria?" asked Lefiya with wide eyes.
Riveria was equally perplexed watching that light show, and Aiz wasn't far behind, with her eyes also becoming stunned.
"I've never seen anything like it; he truly is a powerful magical talent, as he said in his words on the eighth floor. But his energy is lower than what we felt and saw before. Perhaps his mana is depleting in this aura; I wonder if this is some kind of spell..." Riveria said, not taking her eyes off the brilliantly visible blue mana.
"TRIPLE KAIOKEN!!!" Suddenly, Lucius inside the blue aura shouted!
His aura increased to 10 meters and became thicker, causing winds all around.
This made his three spectators stunned.
"I WILL NEVER LET YOU DESTROY THIS PLANET, VEGETAAAAAAA!" He shouted again into the air, but there was no one where he was looking and shouting.
"Kaioken? What kind of ability is that?" Riveria asked.
"Who is Vegeta?" Aiz sought the supposed enemy.
"What is a planet?" Lefiya couldn't help but ask, astonished.
"HAHAHAHHAHAHA THIS IS SO COOL!" Lucius said, laughing like a madman.
"Heeeee...." The spectators, once again, were surprised by the goblin's voice that arrived beside the girls, protecting himself from the strong winds.
"That's his goblin... CUTE!" Lefiya said, looking at the new companion to see Lucius and his aura.
Aiz looked for a moment at the goblin, still thinking that she had killed him once. She wanted to apologize, as he proved not to be a monster like those in the dungeon, but she didn't know how to proceed.
The violent energy began to decrease and finally stopped, causing the winds to cease as everything calmed down and returned to normal.
Suddenly, Lucius looked to the side and saw Riekling with three girls whose identities he knew well.
"..." Lucius.
"..." Riekling
"..." Riveria
"..." Lefiya
"..." Aiz
As everyone stared at each other, silence took over the place.
'Did they hear my whole performance??!!' Lucius was stunned by the spectators he hadn't even noticed while shouting like a madman.
"Hello, girls... so you were listening..." He said, scratching his head with a shy smile.
Riveria POV
Same location.
Since she saw this man in the dungeon over a month ago, she always felt that he was a great mystery to her. At first, he seemed like a poor guy, lost on the seventh floor, where Aiz and I tried to help him at that time. The second encounter with him was at the Hostess of Fertility Pub, just to flirt with me in front of everyone there; I didn't know where to put my face after that, that night.
To be honest, I felt a little unconsciously happy about it, as I never had any contact with the opposite sex except for any unrelated subject to love. I am an elf; my race highly values our purity and chastity.
In Alf's Royal Forest, no one ever tried to catch my attention because I was an untouchable princess, even after 70 years living there. In Orario, no one ever came close to me, either for being a princess or belonging to the Loki family as a high executive.
So the praises of that man caught my attention in a certain way because even though he was weak and would lose badly to most members of my family, he would stand firm in front of all of us without a hint of fear, be it in front of our god or the most powerful members of the family. I couldn't help but be amazed.
There were misunderstandings as well because I heard that Aiz attacked a guild-licensed monster in front of him, and she cast magic at Aiz. I had to explain to my adopted daughter that what she did was wrong; this resulted in more complications between this human and our family.
This reached its peak when he asked if we were turning into a group of bandits, something understandable after everything that happened. I have to admit the mistakes of my family, just like Finn, fortunately, we would resolve our differences in the future.
On this expedition, Riveria couldn't help but find herself thinking about the mysterious human while in the deep floors. Lefiya's words the last time they encountered him on the eighth floor increased her curiosity because the idea that he could elevate magical level to such a degree in such a short time was impossible to believe!
But there was a human, doing something that even surpassed the high elves, the race that has always been proud of its magical potential, yet I see most of them wither in front of this human.
When I found out that Bell Cranel was here on the eighteenth floor, walking in the camp with the Amazon sisters and Aiz, I really wanted to ask Lucius if he was here too, but I didn't have the courage. After all, I am still an elven princess, and showing interest in someone from another family would be inappropriate publicly for many to hear, even within the family.
Later, I learned from the complaints of the twins about the Hestia family fighting and defeating the Goliath, that Lucius was here and was training on the floor below. Riveria somehow wanted to talk to him and discover more about his mysteries.
So last night, there was the explosion; we arrived at the scene and found the city gathered in front of the damaged building, complaining and questioning what happened. Part of the inn had exploded, and in the center, there was Lucius unconscious and injured with his family members treating him; people were holding the group accountable for the destruction.
It wasn't difficult for Finn and me to take over the entire confusion since we have great prestige. I suggested bringing him to our camp while Finn would handle the damages; after that, he remained unconscious for more than half a day.
When I returned with the girls from the city, Finn said he had woken up and talked about his magical problems. So, I finally found a way to speak with the young human in front of me.
If she learned more about his magical talents, she could improve herself and even Lefiya because magic is a science of the more you learn, the stronger you become, and the more skills you have a chance to develop. She was sure she could enhance her magic and knowledge with Lucius.
Now, her curiosity increased even more seeing the vortex of magical energy coming from Lucius; it looked like an infinite, inexhaustible spiral. For Riveria, it was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen in her life.
Third-person POV
Riveria took a first step towards the young man amid the awkward silence, surprising the other two girls and Lucius himself.
"Hello, Mr. Lucius. I know we introduced ourselves officially before, but after everything that happened, I believe we need to start over. My name is Riveria Ljos Alf." She took the initiative for the first time to speak with Lucius, but couldn't help having a slight blush on her face; after all, there wasn't just academic interest in the man.
Lefiya looked perplexed at Riveria's action. For the young elf, her mentor would never talk to that bully scoundrel. Lefiya feared that he might shamelessly start flirting, just like that Bell Cranel was trying to lay hands on her Aiz!
Even Lucius was surprised by Riveria's sudden interest, taking the initiative to talk to him for the first time.
"Well, it's good to see you again, Miss Riveria. I think you're right, so let me introduce myself personally as well. I am Lucius Drakenar." Lucius said, but he didn't raise his hand to shake hers, knowing it's impolite for any elf.
"Let me ask about your magical energy just now; was that an ability or a spell?" The elf asked curiously.
"That was a spell I acquired in the last few days." Lucius smiled and explained, a half-truth.
The elf's eyes shimmered with curiosity about it.
"I would like to hear more about it if you don't mind, Mr. Lucius." She said, and before I could respond, she continued speaking.
"I heard that you had a magical mishap last night in your inn, which led to an explosion. If you want to talk about your problems, I have taught many adventurers from my family and can try to help you with magic... I'll do it as an act of goodwill, after everything that happened," Riveria said, showing a face even redder.
Lefiya opened her mouth wide at this; she had never seen Riveria act like this with anyone, let alone show interest in someone. Riveria is always serious and a strict teacher who would keep you up all night studying if necessary. She never imagined her strict teacher acting like this.
"A date?! For you, I'm always available, princess!" Lucius said with an even bigger smile, joking and flirting without wasting time with the woman in front of him. He was enjoying this conversation more and more.
"A DA-DATE? NO! I WANT TO LEARN ABOUT YOUR MAGICAL TALENTS, AND I CAN TEACH YOU TOO, SINCE YOU HAVE TROUBLE CONTROLLING YOUR MAGIC WHEN YOU'RE CLOSE TO LEVELING, FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD!" Riveria shouted completely red as she tried to justify herself.
Lefiya also turned red with this interaction. Aiz just watched expressionlessly without understanding much.
"Ok, ok! I'm just kidding, my lady. So, I'll accept your invitation; I need to learn magic, and you are the best in Orario for that, no doubt," Lucius said seriously now.
He knew that if he learned more about magic, he could acquire new abilities as well. They believed in the explanation he gave to Finn, even though it was a lie. He couldn't say that he was leveling up without having a god doing it with the power of another even more powerful and unknown being to the inhabitants of this world. But his excuse is serving him well; learning from Riveria was a great opportunity.
The Loki family believes in this because it's quite plausible that such significant growth, like Lucius's in a short time, could cause magical instability.
From there, Lucius began to really interact with Riveria for the first time. He started talking about his magical experiences with the elf and the girls in the last month, avoiding everything about his cheat, of course. Lucius had never studied magic, but he began to have a lot of knowledge about magic and mana after casting spells every day for the last month.
