NEEDING A JOB

Sabrina decided to search for new jobs online. She needed to survive. She looked for companies that are in need of a worker. She studied credit management in the University as well as Josh. She hoped she will be finally able to find a company that needs a credit manager. "Dear God , please let me see one." 

She scrolled through the website and found a company. "Oh great?" She opened the website of the company and saw that they were looking for workers. She only noticed one of the jobs that was vacant. 'Credit Manager'. She didn't even care about the other three that were listed. "Oh my God! It's vacant." She started jubilating. She immediately applied for the job of a credit manager. She uploaded her resumè, before pressing the submit button. 

She rested her back on the couch, hoping that she will receive a notification for an interview. She stared at the ceiling, thinking of Josh. "What is he doing now"? She decided to call him. She picked up her phone from the table and dialed his number. She was about to press the call button when she stopped. "What am I doing. It's like I'm stalking him." She sighed and threw her phone on the chair. She laid down on the chair and groaned. She was finding it so difficult to always be with him. His smile, face, pink lips. Sometimes, she even had wet dreams. "I've become a pervert." 

She picked up her laptop and went to her bedroom.

Meanwhile in the car, Josh had slept off, resting his head on the window. Daniel could only glance at him and sigh. He knew what his friend was going through. Having your own mum abuse, and kill your dad right in front of you was terrible. His friend became scared of falling for any woman like his dad. 'I hope you finally have a lover bro. Not all women are like that woman. He glanced at him again, before fully focusing on the road to take Josh home.

He arrived at Josh's house. He looked at the guy who still sleeping. " Awwn. He is so cute." Daniel giggled as he stared at Josh's face.

Josh who was sleeping felt the car not moving. He moved a little and opened his eyes slowly. "Am I home?" He turned his neck and was startled when he saw Daniel's face closer to him , grinning. "Move back a little. You are to close Daniel." He looked outside from the windshield and realized he was home. He opened the car door and got down.

"Hey bro!" Daniel shouted from the car, which made Josh roll his eyes before he turned back to answer Daniel. "What is it?"

"Ain't you gonna say goodbye?" He grinned expecting his friend to bid him goodbye.

Josh looked at him before turning around to his house. "Go home Daniel." He waved at him without looking back. 

Daniel scoffed at Josh sassiness. "Asshole." He shook his head before driving off.

Josh arrived home and immediately slumped on the couch. He closed his eyes for while, before getting up to the kitchen. He remembered the time he spent in Sabrina's house. "Her house is cute and little just like her." He chuckled. He picked up his jacket and went to his room.

Days passed and Sabrina was getting worried. She laid flat on her bed with her legs and hands spread wide, staring at the ceiling. "Am I not good enough?" She was becoming bored at home, and she also needed money to go survive. She also wondered if Josh was searching for a job. "I'm going crazy not doing anything." She checked her phone to see if there was any mail. But there was nothing. "God please, let me get the job." She closed her eyes and clasped her hands together as she prayed.

Josh woke up from his siesta after a long time. He looked at the wall clock. It was almost evening. He yawned and stretched his arms and legs before getting down from the bed. 

He went to the living room and crashed on the couch. He switched on the television to watch the news. He heard the door bell ring. He groaned and lazily got up to open the door. He saw Daniel and was about to roll his eyes until when he saw the little lady among two of them. "S-s-sabrina. Hey." He looked at her and Daniel. "Please come in." 

They both entered the house following Josh. Sabrina was in awe. She looked at the big apartment. Its interior. The masculinity of the house with black and white colors. It was so beautiful. "Is this your house Josh?" She stared at him with her eyes wide opened.

Josh and Daniel looked at each other. Josh didn't know what to say. He looked at Daniel for help. Daniel gave him a look saying. 'You owe me one.' "Oh no no. Its my house."

Josh silently sighed in relief. "Its not mine. It's Daniel's." 

Sabrina still didn't care about whoever owned the house or not. "Okay. But this place is beautiful." She looked around for a while before Josh offered her a seat.

The three of them sat down. Josh decided to go to the kitchen to offer her a drink. Daniel started up a conversation between them.

"So how is your looking for a job doing now."

She sighed. "Well I have applied for one. Its been days since I applied, but I haven't gotten any feedback. She smiled as she collected the drink from Josh. "Thanks." Josh sat down beside Daniel to listen to their discussion. Daniel looked at Josh. "Bro where is mine?"

Josh looked at him with a scornful gaze. "You aren't a visitor." Josh knew what Daniel was trying to do.

"But I....." He stopped talking when Josh gave him a 'say one more word and I will kill you brutally' look. He cleared his throat and turned to face Sabrina who was smiling at them. "What is the name of this company."

"Oh its called..." She was trying to remember the name of the company. "Yes! The Global industries." 

Bang! Josh's heart stopped beating for more than a second. He coughed trying to stable his breathing.

Daniel was shocked. "Wait. Which Global industry?" 

Sabrina was confused. "Its only one and the best in the country. Its a telecommunication industry." She really hoped they will call her for the interview.

Josh decided to calm his soul down before asking her. "You applied for?" 

"I applied for credit risk management." She said.

"Wow, cool. I hope you get the job." Josh truly in his heart, hoped she won't get it. It will be harder hiding his identity. He had to change the name from KJ  industries to Global industries. He couldn't let his mother know that the company is still progressing. He even erased all the history of the former name

so his mum will never find out. 

He also felt bad for Sabrina. She needed to survive. But it will be harder hiding his identity now. He has no choice but to hope she gets the job. He is not in the HR department so, he hoped.

Daniel knew that Josh will have to protect his identity harder. He looked at his poor best friend who was obviously tensed. 'You will pull through bro.' He thought. He removed his gaze from Josh when he heard a 'ting' sound. He looked to see Sabrina looking at her phone with her eyes wide opened.

"What is it Sabrina?" Josh asked.

"I-i got the interview!" She screamed and started jumping for joy.

Daniel and Josh looked at each other. Josh rested his body completely on the chair. 'This is not going to be good.' He thought.

Sabrina stopped jubilating and frowned when she saw the guys not smiling. "Aren't you guys happy for me?" 

Daniel laughed. "Of course we are. Aren't we Josh?" 

"We are. Congratulations Sabrina." 

"I haven't gotten the job yet so keep the congrats for now."

"Whatever this calls for a celebration. Let's go out to eat dinner." Daniel picked his car key up from the table. "Let's go." He led Sabrina through the door, and pushed Josh who didn't want to go, out of the house.

They drove to the restaurant.
