MISINFORMED

"Drink? You know I don't drink Daniel". She tried to get up from the couch to run away from Daniel.

Daniel saw her and stopped her from running away. "Please? Just once. Drinking while celebrating is the best." He blinked his eyes multiple times and pouted his lips.

Sabrina looked at his face. She couldn't help but agree to it. Daniel will never give up if he really wanted something. "Okay. But only once." She raised her index finger to his face.

"Okay, okay. Only once." He happily placed everything on the table, before sitting down. Sabrina also sat down, next to him. 

Josh came back seeing bottles of beer on his table and a big Pizza box. "You know Sabrina doesn't drink." He sat beside them with Sabrina in the middle.

"I will drink just one bottle." She opened the pizza box and took a slice. "Mnm. This is really good." She offered them the box to take a slice each.

"Are you sure you will want to drink?" Josh asked.

She patted her belly. "This can take it in. It's just one bottle. I won't take more thaWeee!at." 

Daniel stood up to face two of them. "Okay." He raised the beer in his hand. "We are here today to celebrate the success of, the most beautiful Sabrina.

"Oh my God, Daniel." Sabrina laughed as she was blushing.

Daniel continued. "She got hired in the biggest telecommunication industry in the world. Let's cheers to success." The three of them clinked their bottles together,and drank the beer.

Sabrina scrunched up her face. "Its so bitter." She dropped the bottle on the table.

"Come on. You will get used to it. You promised only one bottle." Daniel handed the bottle back to her. 

"How was the interview like?" Josh asked as he took a sip from his bottle.

"Well as you said, confidence. I did that. They were quite impressed. They asked me a series of questions, I answered them well. After the questions, they asked me if there were any questions. I asked them when I can start working." She giggled.

"Woah! Confidence, nice." Daniel laughed as he clapped for her.

Sabrina continued. "The lady who looked stern, finally laughed. Then she told me they will get back to me." She tried to take another sip from the beer bottle. And this time, it didn't really taste bad. "Not bad. But I can't drink more than this." She took another slice of pizza and ate it.

Josh looked at Sabrina, smiling. 'She will do well.' "How is the company like?"

She exclaimed in delight. "It's so big! People were busy, they looked polite. I love the place. I wonder how the CEO is like. He has never revealed himself before."

Daniel had an idea to look for Josh's trouble. He grinned evilly. But Josh and Sabrina didn't see him. "From what I heard. They said he is very ugly, dumb, a drug addict, he had committed a lot of crimes in his teenage years. The company is even run by a representative, because the CEO is a very irresponsible asshole, and an idiot. If you ever meet him, you will want to surely hate him Sabrina."

Josh was speechless. He glared at Daniel, who didn't even bother to look at him. "How did you know he is like that?"

Daniel looked at Josh. He already knew Josh was angry. He laughed inwardly. "Well one of the workers there told me. He is a big fool you know. Someone else is handling the company."

Sabrina was surprised about all what Daniel said. "Wow. I thought since its a big industry, the owner will have sense. He is so stupid."

Josh looked at Sabrina. Somehow, he felt pained that she thought of him this way. And it was all because of Daniel. "Is not really good to believe in rumors. None of the workers have seen him."

Daniel rolled his eyes. "Bro, you don't work there. A staff said it duh."

Josh felt like killing Daniel. He wondered why Daniel became more stupid over the years. "But still..."

Sabrina interrupted their argument. "It's okay guys. I don't care. I'm not going to meet him; so, it's fine. Let's just enjoy this afternoon." 

They both agreed to stop arguing, but Josh definitely vowed to deal with Daniel who was smiling evilly at him.

Sabrina became tipsy after she drank two bottles. She rested her body on Daniel, who was looking at her, and shook his head. "Tsk, tsk. She said only one bottle."

Josh carried her in bridal style to one of the guest rooms in the house. He called Daniel to help him open the door because he couldn't, carrying Sabrina. Daniel helped him, before telling him he was leaving.

Josh tucked in Sabrina; who was already asleep, muttering things while she was sleeping. He quickly left the room.

Daniel who was at the door suddenly felt a huge kick on his butt. "Ouch!" He turned around to see Josh who was looking at him with anger.

Josh glowered at him. "Why did you say all that?"

Daniel smirked as he massaged his butt cheek. "Don't ever refuse to drink with me baby." He winked and laughed.

Josh took in deep breaths. "You are already mad Daniel." He pushed him out of the house and locked the door. He rested on the door and suddenly smiled. "This boy won't kill me." He sighed and left to the living room.

Few minutes later. After Josh had cleared everything on the table, he decided to watch the television. He suddenly saw a  figure standing in front of the TV. "Sabrina, you are awake. So fast."

She giggled. Then she suddenly started dancing and laughing. She pulled Josh up from his seat. "Let's dance."

Josh was confused as to why she was behaving like this. But then, he realised she was still tipsy. "Sabrina, you need to sleep."

"I don't want to sleep. I am okay I swear. She left him and started spinning around in the living room. "Weee!"

Josh folded his arms and watched her for a while. He had never seen her like this before. She looked so funny with her singing loud and dancing. "Sabrina please, sit down." He sat her down on the couch , then sat next to her.

She closed her eyes with her hands, opened them back, closed it, and opened it back. "Josh is here, Josh is gone. Josh is here, Josh is gone!" She giggled.

Josh didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He just stared at her, waiting for when she will sleep off.

She stopped giggling; then frowned. "I wonder how the CEO looks like." She pouted her lips, closed her eyes and raised her eyebrows. 

Josh just kept on staring at her, cursing Daniel wherever he was now. 

"Maybe fat, potbellied. No he should be slim, tall, lots of tattoos and ugly. He is so stupid. Instead of him to be the best. See what he used his life to do. He is so stupid. Haha haha ha." She laughed as she was slapping Josh on the shoulder.

"Ouch Sabrina." He held her hand to prevent her from hurting him. "Daniel is just saying nonsense. Don't mind him."

"Daniel is always right Josh." She knelt on the couch and stared at the TV.

Josh sighed looking at her condition. He went to the kitchen to get a glass of water for her. He came back and saw still kneeling on the couch, watching theTV. He offered her the water, which she collected and gulped it all down in a go.

He chuckled when he saw the way she drank it, that even water was dripping from the sides of her mouth. He used his hands to clean the sides of her mouth.

She smiled until her eyes turned crescents. "Thank you." 

He placed the cup on the table and sat beside her. He pulled her closer to him, so that she could sit down. He placed his hand on her shoulders and brought her closer that her head rested on his neck.  He tried to put her to sleep by stroking her head. "Sleep now okay?"

She nodded slowly as she was already sleepy. "Josh?"

"Hmm?"

"I lo - like your body scent. Which perfume do you use?" She wanted to say what she had been feeling for the past two years, but she couldn't.

Her breath was fanning his neck. He became quite uncomfortable. He was feeling strange. "T-that's my natural scent."

"Nice." She whispered before dozing off.

He felt her breathing become stable. She had already fallen asleep. He carried her back to the room. He covered her with the duvet. He looked at her and cracked a smile, before leaving the room.
