"Yes," Robert answers, "James Burke is still nervous. Because it is still possible that they can take him out of the election if he gets arrested for a crime. That was what I said to him, too, that someone wants to make sure he gets arrested before the election. That is why he does think it is a crisis for him, and is willing to bribe me with the party invitation. And Jack is in, too. He allows me to bring a friend."
"Wow!" Rosanne is impressed. "You got Jack in already! He didn't get suspicious?"
"Oh. I just said something that made James Burke happy. I had to pander his anti-feminism side." Robert smiles.
Jack laughs, "Well, Bob is pretty good at that kind of talk, right? You sometimes sound like my grandpa."
