Sunday Colds

It's summer and it's so hot here in my place. I can't stay in my comfy room for the whole day, which is my office daily, because of the hot weather at noon time. I have to let the fan go full blast. Then if one fan won't give the relief I need, then I use two fans. That's how hot it is here right now.

Thus, because of the high centigrade temperature, I prefer to write early in the morning. I have a short time writing, so I have to make use of it wisely. However, if my body is the one complaining, I have no choice but to take things in a slow manner.

Like yesterday afternoon. Colds got the better of me. I've been sneezing badly that I couldn't think what to write. Most of my time went on chatting in discord but at least I helped someone by giving my feedback with his chapter, so when the sun went west I began writing but my time was not used satisfactorily. Can you believe it? It took me four hours to finish 2000 words. Ah, I'm quite discomfited thinking of it. That's totally a snail's pace of work, but it didn't matter. I can't really stand wasting my days with nothing written for my story. It's better than zero words.

Another problem visited me when I went to sleep, another fit of cough followed. Ugh, I felt down in the dumps. When I woke up this morning, my nose was very stuffy like a stuck up sink full of water that would never drain out the dirty water. And my throat was very dry as the desert. I hope the rain comes to help water the thirsty soil and my tired soul. Being edgy makes me a bit poetic.

Oh, my goodness, I felt so funny and stupid. My grammar corrector App is screaming at me right now because I'm having a lot of grammar errors while writing this. I do hope this is only a result of colds and not me entirely.

I've said a lot more than I want to write in this open diary of mine but before closing it today, I just want to thank those who are following and reading this non-novel, unsophisticated, full of ramblings and complaints diary online. I hope this helps you to understand and sympathize with original story authors like me and support and read our stories. (Bowing, kowtowing, and folding my hands in prayer.)

Thank you, have a good and blessed day.
