Daniel and Jenni Meeting

Daniel had previously promised Jaden that he would be outside waiting for the boy, so Daniel did so happily.

The young man calmly waited for Jaden to come out of the toilet. Several times Daniel smiled seeing the boy's face he was very happy to see him. He was really happy to see Jaden's gaze on him.

Not only that, Daniel even dreamed that if he was still with Jenni and chose to marry so that they could live together forever, then maybe he would have a son like Jaden, right? Can he fantasize about it?

Deep down, Daniel for some reason hoped that it would come true, it's just a mortal fantasy, and the bitter fact that Jenni wasn't with him at this moment of course made the hopes of his fantasy dashed.

"Uncle!" Jaden shouted who had just come out of the toilet with a small grin that again made him remember Jenni at a glance from Jaden's face.

Instantly Daniel's heartbeat accelerated, and several times he tried to swallow his saliva roughly.

Oh, come on, why Daniel's memories of Jenni are so thick as if to explain that he will not be separated from Jenni's grasp, who until this moment has not been able to give the real reason for making the girl completely away from his life.

This is something that continues to be a mystery to him.

"Uncle!" Jaden once again screeched his voice a little because Daniel never greeted him back, even his eyes seemed to stare blankly without looking at Jaden.

"Ah yes, I'm listening to you baby Jaden," said Daniel slightly teasing Jaden who actually got a cursory hug from Jaden.

"Uncle calls me the same as Mommy! You two are compatible," said Jaden, who was now staring intently at Daniel's eyes.

Daniel blinked a few times. He really didn't know why his heart warmed when he saw the happy face on Jaden's face. It felt like he wanted to hug Jaden without wanting to let go of Jaden at all.

Sounds selfish, isn't it?

Let it be for a moment Daniel wants to be selfish even though only for a moment today he will do something like that when he is with Jaden.

Daniel reached out his hand and gently stroked Jaden's head.

"Let's go to your mother, your mother must have been waiting for you right?" Daniel whispered to Jaden.

After only a few steps, Jaden unexpectedly stopped and asked Daniel

to carry him.

For a moment Daniel was confused by Jaden's unique attitude, only Daniel, who had really liked Jaden from the first time he met, immediately lifted Jaden so he could carry him.

As Daniel walked towards the dining table that he had previously reserved several people at another table and the waiter there looked to stare at the two as if amazed to see a happy father and son couple.

Daniel caught a glimpse of that gaze, it's just that for some reason he liked the look that seemed to envy the two of them.

It didn't feel like Daniel's steps were now in front of the girl who was busy with the bag she had just placed next to her.

Until...

"What--"

Before Daniel had time to ask the girl if the girl was Jaden's mother, Daniel was actually surprised by the appearance of the girl he had been looking for, and of course, the girl he had never forgotten in his life.

"Jen...- Jenni?" Daniel was surprised by his nervousness.

Oh, come on he doesn't know why he can meet Jenni here, not to mention on the bench that should belong to Jaden's mother.

Wait...

"You're Jaden's mother?" asked Daniel who had just thought about the thing that had just crossed his head.

Jaden, who had been in Daniel's arms and confused by the situation, of course, was now starting to get a little disturbed.

"Does uncle Daniel know Mommy? How can Uncle know Mommy's name?"

A barrage of questions escaped from the mouth of Jaden who was curious about what was going on right now.

Jenni tried to be as strong as possible, and she gave a nod of her head to Daniel, and don't forget that now Jenni was getting up from the bench while holding out her hand to shake hands with Daniel to repeat their introduction.

"Hello, Daniel, we haven't seen each other for a long time. Let me introduce myself, Jenni, the mother of Jaden, the child you're carrying right now," Jenni said firmly and confidently, trying to hold back the feelings that actually felt mixed at the moment.

Daniel was really stunned to hear it. He was really surprised, because in fact, Jaden's smile reminded him of Jenni, indeed because it was none other than because Jaden was Jenni's son.

Daniel slowly placed Jaden on the empty chair, and soon shook Jenni's hand.

"Ha..-hello Jen, how are you? Y..-you're married?" said Daniel and asked Jenni nervously.

'Marry? What is marriage?' Jaden whispered, listening intently to the conversation between Jenni and Daniel.

Jenni just smiled and before long a shake of the head Jenni gave to Daniel.

"We'd better sit down, and Jaden's going to be asking me more and more what we're talking about, isn't that right baby?" Jenni softly ended up turning her face to Jaden who was waiting for an explanation from the conversation.

This time Daniel chose to give in for a moment, he didn't want to draw conclusions that weren't necessarily in line with his expectations, and also he didn't want his expectations or guesses to be the truth.

Daniel and Jenni sat in their respective seats in silence, no one had yet to open the conversation between them again.

"So Mommy and Uncle Daniel know each other?" Jaden asked again amid the silence.

This time it was Jenni who opened her voice first, while Daniel was still in his shock mode.

"You're right, Mommy and Uncle Daniel know each other, even very well."

Those were the words Jenni could say to her only son.

"Woah that's great, that means Jaden won't have a hard time getting Mommy closer to Uncle Daniel."

Jenni and Daniel's spontaneity turned their faces to look at Jaden for a moment when they heard a sentence which, according to them, implied that Jaden wanted to match Daniel and Jenni, right?

Oh come on doesn't Jaden realize that the person he wants to introduce and wants to be close to his mother is his own father?

"What do you mean baby?" Jenni asked to make sure that the sentence Jaden meant was the same as her perception.

Jaden was silent for a moment and then stared at the two of them.

"Can't Mommy and Uncle be close? Mommy, I like Uncle Daniel!"

Thump!

'Ah, my perception is not wrong, my son really likes Daniel, I really shouldn't be selfish right now.'
