Pregnant

The sound of keys opening the door caught Jada's attention as she watched TV. Before she could get up, she saw Ren holding their daughter Yueyue in one hand and carrying a bag in the other.

"Mommy~~~" Yueyue kicked off her little shoes and ran towards Jada with a joyful expression. "Daddy bought lots and lots of snacks today~~~"

Yueyue's words made Jada glance at the bag in Ren's hand.

"Well, I know you like sweets, and a new chain store just opened, so I bought some on the way."

After tidying up Yueyue's scattered shoes, Ren showed Jada the bag he was carrying.

"But don't complain about needing to lose weight later," Ren joked as he placed the bag on the coffee table and started taking out the contents.

There were small cakes with white cream and red strawberries, Black Forest cake, donuts, and meat floss cakes.

"The meat floss cakes are mine~~~" Yueyue cheered and grabbed one of the four-pack cakes.

She loved these cakes the most, with their thick layer of meat floss and a bit of seaweed on the outside and soft, fluffy cake on the inside. They tasted sweet~~~

Jada rolled her eyes at Ren and gave him a gentle kick, expressing her displeasure at his teasing.
