A few days later, the Karts were busy decorating the pack house. This time, they decided to celebrate the birthday of the first heir of the Karts at the pack house instead of the Kart's mansion. Derek wanted Sam Jr to be aware of the responsibilities that were going to be on his shoulders as soon as he turned 18. Although Zeus thought it was way too early to burden Sam Jr with the thoughts of the burdens he was going to carry in the future, Moon decided to agree with his father. This was the way Derek had trained both Moon and Zeus when they were children. That was the reason why both Moon and Zeus were able to carry on with the hard work Derek had done.
