Let's get some upgrades

-Jacobs Apartment-

It was early in the morning. Jacob was sleeping like a baby, when suddenly somebody ring the doorbell. The doorbell rung like four or five times but nothing. Jacob didn't wake up.

The door opened, it was Hiro standing there with a bodyguard. She had one spare key, just in case. She walked over to Jacob's bed where he was sleeping. She stood there for a while, then she turned around and waved at the bodyguard. He pulled out his gun and shoot the ceiling.

Jacob jumped out of the bed, "What the fu..." He didn't complete his sentence because he saw Hiro in his apartment. "How did you get in here?" Jacob asked with clear confusion on his face. Hiro without saying a word showed the other key she had.

Hiro sat down on the couch he had near his bed, his apartment was like one big room with everything in it, except the shower and toilet which were in diffrent room. Hiro looked at Jacob and invited him with a wave of her hand to sit on the couch as well. They started looking at each other awkwardly. "Ehm, how was your sleep?" Hiro asked. "I haven't had a good sleep like this in a while." Jacob replied as he ran his hands over his sleepy eyes. Hiro smiled and a small sparkle appeared in her eyes. She inspected his body, Jacob was fully human and didn't have any cyberware on or in him.

When inspecion ended Hiro was confused because there is a few people in Night City who don't have any cyberware. But despite of his strong body he have Jacob is a normal human without upgrades, his body is strong, in other words he is extremely strong, and all this information Hiro gained, thanks to her optic, that was from Arasaka.

"Change your clothes, we will go out." She said while getting up from the couch and getting ready to leave. "I will wait in the car." She stopped before leaving the apartment. Jacob did his hygiene and put on clean black sweatpants, white tank top and some shoes from the closet. All ready and set he went down to parking lot near a building and got into the car.

In the car there was Hiro already drinking something. "Ugokimashou."(Let's get moving) Hiro said and the car started moving. "Where are we going?" Jacob asked. Hiro finished her drink and after that she started to smoking. "We are gonna see a ripperdoc." Hiro replied blowing smoke out of her mouth. "For what reason?" Jacob asked curiously. Hiro smiled and she replied "To give you a check up." After that, rest of the ride was quiet. They arrived one hour later than they should. The reason why, was because of the heavy traffic due to road shooting and car crashing, but they arrived in japan town safely.

"Wareware ga tōchaku."(We arrived.) The driver said and stopped the car. Hiro and Jacob stood up, Hiro put out her cigaret and trow it away. "Follow me." Hiro said waving her finger for him to follow her. Jacob followed and they got inside, they went underground and there was a door, Hiro opened it and they both step in. Inside the room there was ripperdoc in baggy clothes with long untidy hair, which covered his eyes and one robotic arm. As soon as they entered, the man turned in their direction.

"O nēchan!"(Big Sister.) The ripperdoc shouted and ran towards Hiros direction, then he jumped on her and hugged her tight. "Watashi mo anata ni aete ureshīdesu."(I'm happy to see you too) Hiro said to ripperdoc, the they stopped hugging and looked at Jacob who was standing next to Hiro the whole time. "This is Kay." She pointed her hand at ripperdoc. "He is my younger brother." She said and started to pet him on head. Jacob introduced himself but Kay didn't respond or even say hi, it was just an awkward silence. Then Hiro took Kay away from Jacob and they started to talk about something, but Jacob couldn't hear it.

There was some banging sound like Kay was looking for something. When the banging noises finally stopped, Hiro waved her hand to Jacob to come in. As Jacob moved closer to the table, he noticed Hiro pointing to a pair of hands and other cyberware lying there.

"I see cyberware, so what?" He asked while crossing his arms over his chest. "It's all yours." Hiro replied. "What? Why?" Jacob asked with a surprised look on his face "You should be grateful, she bought this all for you." Kay said while preparing his robotic arm. Jacob looked at Hiro "I didn't ask for it." He said. "It's only for business, you could understand it like future investment." Hiro told him with a small smirk appearing on her face. "I'm ready." Kay said and after that Jacob layed down and Kay could start to give him a cyberware. Most of the cyberware was oriented to ocular system and operanting system, there was other type of cyberware and that was gorilla arms, the reason why gorilla arms are simple is because Jacob is going to be a fighter so he need something to put enemies to rest. The operation was very long and when the operation ended, it was almost a night. After Kay finished the long operation, he threw himself into the chair and lit his well-deserved cigarette.

When Jacob woke up it was like he was in diffrent body. Everything looked diffrent, but Hiro said to him that he will get use to it. Before they left Kay gave Jacob a bag with medicine to prevent pain and possible cyberpsychosis.

Jacob felt fine so he thought that he don't need it but he took it anyway. After that, Jacob and Hiro left, of course Kay hugged Hiro before she left. The road was pretty calm, Hiro and Jacob talked about how he can use his cyberware and lot of other stuff.

The road didn't took long so Jacob arrived in front his apartment pretty

quickly.

Jacob and Hiro said bye to each other, she left and he went to his apartment. When he got there sharp pain hitted hime making him fall to ground. "Fu...u.. ck." His whole body was in pain, but mainly head, he felt like he was going to be crazy any time soon, his body didn't listen to him and the bag with medice was just few meters away. Jacob all covered with sweat reached the bag, that moment he start to bleed from his nose, but he took the medice and use it. Pain disappeared almost immediately, Jacob layed on his back completly breathless, he tried to stood up but he failed every time, simply he couldn't gather a strength. Before he could even realized it, he felt asleep on the floor, his body was in too big shock because of the implats in his body and because of that, his body needed to adapt to new implants so, Jacob is going to be powerless for some time.
