Its been a few days since Iris had joind the 501st on the resolute. Rex and everyone have noticed a slight coldness to Iris. In training she pushes Seswak to the limit and the 707th. She is not acting like herself. "Master *pant* please *pant* *pant* I need rest..." poor Seswak begs only to be force pushed to the wall by Iris who has a look of disgust. "The enemy would not give you that opportunity Seswak. You need to overcome this and push back. " she said making the male Togruta shiver. He stood up and fought back against her. It want on for a few more months till he passed out from exhaustion. Using the force Iris takes him to his room laying him on his bed. Gently tending to his wounds like she did her men. This is why they respect her she may be a hardass during training but she does it to make them stronger. It was for their own good. As for the coldness she shows Rex is due to her feeling like a failure as a partner. She feels she lost the baby it was her fault.

I walked to the hanger to work on the engines of the fighters but I see Rex holding Iris. I hide behind a fighter so I can hear the exchange between them.

I can't take it anymore I need to know whats going on. "Iris...Iris wait." I said grabbing her arm. She struggled to get away but I pulled her into an embrace. I have her look at me. We jump apart only to see Anakin hands raised.  Iris put her lightsaber away and I put my pistols back in there holsters. "Ani we could have killed you." Iris said before looking at me. "I'll see you later then." She said before she left. Anakin threw a small box at me. "They will come in handy good luck." He said leaving me confused till I looked. My face turns red as I shove it in my pocket.
