Chapter Forty-Five: Broken - Part One

Over the next few days Kat and his mother moaned Katherine and it was now the night before the funeral of which would be the hardest part of the whole week as Kat would have to come face to face with the part of the family that was responsible for her death. The more he had thought on this the harder things got. After the initial day after Katherine's death Kat refused to allow his friends to come up to him or comfort him. As for Katherine he's allowed her to stay in his room but not near him or his bed at night.

"Kyle, it's been four days can we please talk?" softly asked Katherine from where she sadly floated across the room from him.

"I'm not really in the mood of talking sis?" sighed Kat as he laid in his bed with his back towards her not even wanting to look her in the eyes.
