Nah I'd Win

Lilo's leg broke.

A crunchy snapping sound echoed as his devastating kick landed across Jawbi's chin.

The shin bone of his kicking leg shattered, splitting open his flesh, tearing it in half, angling backwards in a grotesque fashion.

A gust of wind blew from the impact, and a gasp of horror escaped Lilo's lips.

The gymnasium remained silent for a brief moment, everyone in shock at what just transpired.

Blood seeped out of Lilo's mangled leg, painting the pastel cloudy floor in a scarlet streak of deep red.

A deep guttural groan grew from his chest and he fell on his back, not being able to support his weight on his badly wounded leg.

Pain. Blinding pain. The kind that consumes your mind and draws every cell of attention to the cause of it.

He clutched his leg and cried out in agony, weeping with snot and spit protruding from his face.

His body shook from the searing sensation that emanated from his wound and he looked up at Jawbi in hopes that he could end this miserable feeling.

Jawbi remained still, his blindfold still on and unmoving from staying on his knees. He was deathly still, not even a hint of breath coming from him.

"Helllllllllp me! Dammit, it hurts like hell. PLEASE!" Lilo's broken voice rung out in a pitiful way as the other students looked away from the gruesome sight.

Not even Lemon could stomach this scene.

Lilo's blurry vision slowly focused on Jawbi's face, analyzing for any hint of movement. This was supposed to be his teacher. Surely he wouldn't allow him to bleed out from a spar.

It was ridiculous to even think about what happened. He used a silly flashy kick and it didn't even effect Jawbi. Instead his leg broke in half when it collided with Jawbi's invincible jaw.

He clutched his bleeding leg even tighter, panicking at the thought of bleeding out.

'Wait... I'm a craver. I should be able to-'

Lilo stopped the bleeding as well as the pain on mental command. He made sure not to make it too noticeable, but this was a life or death situation. He couldn't just remain there with Jawbi refusing to move.

Was he really refusing to move? Did he expect the spar to continue? Lilo looked up at Jawbi again, analyzing him.

There was no rising and falling of his chest or shoulders to indicate breathing... and something strange was on his chin.

Colorful strips of a mysterious hardened material was layered over his skin where Lilo had struck.

'This bastard actually used his abilities, he broke his promise.'

He looked closer at it. There were thousands of cracks littering it, and slowly they crumbled off of Jawbi's chin. A split second later, Jawbi leaned forward and fell flat on his face.

'Oh gods. He's unconscious!'

Lilo dragged himself closer to Jawbi's unmoving frame; the rest of the herders, still in dismay from Lilo's brutal injury, were apprehensive to approach their unconscious teacher.

Lilo checked to make sure Jawbi was alright, finding a pulse. Soon he was able to hear Jawbi breath again and relief flooded his system.

'The hardening candy ability was an involuntary reaction... I actually knocked him out with that goofy ass kick?!'

Lilo marveled at his own incredulous feat, all the while the students gathered around them bickered about the mangled leg on Lilo and their unconscious muscular teacher.

With a groan, Jawbi awoke, slowly taking off his blind fold and standing up to his feet, stumbling to catch his balance as he did.

He looked over at Lilo's bent bleeding leg and raised a nonchalant eye brow.

"What's up with your leg champ?" His deep voice rung out, but his jaw was still a bit unhinged, making it sound like he had a lisp.

"Oof, my jaw... what the-" Jawbi felt around his jaw with his large hands, cracking his neck to feel out his dilemma.

Crumbs of the hardened candy that once covered his jaw fell into the palm of his hand and his eyes widened as he analyzed what transpired.

He looked up at Lilos mangled leg with deep concentration and back at the powdery hard candy in his hand.

This process repeated for a solid minute, all the while Lilo remained still with his demolished leg in his hands, before Jawbi finally made the connection.

"Oooooh shit. You really did it huh." Jawbi approached Lilo's grotesque leg and held a glowing hand over it, casting healing magic.

A satisfying feeling of euphoric relief washed over Lilo as his wound slowly reverted.

Of course, Lilo could heal himself with his abilities, but having it mended with magic felt orgasmically satisfying.

"Nice job buddy. You beat me. I think there's nothing I can teach you regarding combat anymore. Wonka told me you struggle with magic, how about you spend this class time with him instead?" Jawbi said as he helped Lilo to his feet.

Everyone stared with wide eyes in awe, especially Lemon who had her jaw unhinged from the entire bizarre interaction.

"Really? I mean you didn't even fight back and you had a lot of handy caps-" Lilo began to counter but was met with Jawbi's sigh.

Jawbi shook his head in defeat.

"That was the minimum I should have done to face you. I am much bigger and have many other tools to fight. You are a child and yet... it's been made clear to me with that impressive special move that you used... Lilo, you have most definitely mastered the art of hand to hand combat." A mischievous smile grew on Jawbi's lips.

'I mean that's true... but this wasn't the outcome I was hoping for... or could have ever even though of. How the hell did that goofy ancient dance martial art accomplish such a splendid result?'

Soda simply shrugged. He was absolutely clueless as well. Combat was not his area of expertise.

"Of course, not taking my class does not exclude us from ever sparing again. In fact, I'd like to spar you more often. It's nice to have someone on par with me that can keep up with my intensity." With that terrifying statement, Jawbi dismissed his class...

And just like that, once again, Lilo was left alone in the vast empty hallway; only this time, all of the students gave him a look of admiration and respect as they passed by.

Both Chalant and Lemon ignored him coldly out of apprehension; but of which emotion was a mystery.

'Oh shit I forgot... your brother must be confused to see me be so... adept to fighting. What do we do about that?'

Soda's incorporeal form shrugged, but Lilo could notice the hint of a proud smile tug at the corners of Soda's mouth.
