8: Negotiation

"I will come see you later," Nate stood in the room pondering on the words she said. He needed to complete his quest....so why is it pulling back.

He knew that he went far, it was left with an inch to put her to bed and complete the quest.

"I love you, Maria. I loved you the moment I laid my eyes on you.." He muttered. Her beauty had made him fall in love with the very first he laid his eyes on her, and know she could be his savior, but he has to use her as a stepping stone to save his own life and system.

Maria kept walking through the darkness thinking to herself. It seemed someone was following her and that she didn't know but that was not correct because she knew she was been followed and the person meant no harm. The stalker was no other than her personal bodyguard, Josh. He had been waiting in the darkness when he saw her getting out of the building. He quickly flew straight to her.

Maria had told him to wait for her and that she was coming when they got to Nate's place.

Josh followed suit and waited until he saw the young lady flying away at full speed. He flew straight toward her. Their cultivation had a huge gap, he got to her in seconds.

"My lady, why are you flying that fast. Is something bothering you, let me deal with?" He said as he took out his sword.

Turning to face him;"Its nothing, don't bother. I just want to get home early to consolidate my cultivation. I had come here in a haste so I didn't."

When he heard this he knew that it was a lie, She was hiding something from him." She looks so fragile just what happened in there?" He thought.

"Okay, then let's go please,"

They made their way home in silence.

Saturn Kingdom*

Saturn Kingdom was located at the East of the borders of Skyfall Kingdom. The land was rich in resource making it rank first among all of the Kingdoms as it has many masters. In Saturn Kingdom, there were four major clans with the royal bloodline. They were the Muscat clan, the Viking clan, the sunshine clan and lastly the Darkness clan. The clans leaders were located at the capital of Saturn Kingdom, Moonz. Each patriarch of their clan was an Highest Elder at the Kingdom's Royal palace taking orders only from the King. The current King was from the Muscat clan with a cultivation base surpassing that of the Skyfall kingdoms king . He had a cultivation base of middle stage of the Advance level . He was known has the 'red devil' having three beautiful daughters whom were fancied by many men both powerful, noble and even commoners.

In a meeting room at the Court of Royals. A group of five people were currently sitted as they waited for the king to come, they started discussing among themselves.

"Have you people heard that, the Humanoid races are trying to weaken that already weak Kingdom, Skyfall??" A man with a charming and handsome features dropped the question. His skin looked withered like a mummy. He was the patriarch of the Viking clan. They were a family of brutality, war and slaughtering was their plaything with blood been their best food.

They felt silent when they heard this, but some kept whispering to themselves.

"Yeah, that weak kingdom is already experiencing this..Should we support them from the sides?" Another asked.

"We can't just make any discussions and approve of it, you know the king isn't around!!" Another retorted in an harsh voice as if he was displeased.

Meanwhile in a room behind the Court of Royals, was a man dressed in fine linen and silk ropes. He looked around 45 but was older than that. He had been standing there focusing and listening to what the elders were saying and whispering with his sharp hearings.

"It seems nowadays these bastards are coming around. I need to reward them somehow. Haha" He laughed, making his way to the Court of Royals.

"Leo!" They gave a bow when he entered the room. With the elders, there was no need for formalities and even Leo was younger than many of the elders in the room.

"Rise, what's the need for a bow?" He replied as if he didn't know what was going on.

With a nod they sat down as they prepared for what was about to come forth in this meeting.

"Your Highness, Can we proceed with the currently subject today??" A man stood up from his seat and walked to the center of the room.

He glanced through the room watching each of their expressions.

"Proceed!"

The man then turned to the elders for their approval, then the moment he got it he started explaining;"the current subject is that the Humanoid races are making things a lot difficult for the people of Skyfall kingdom, cutting business routes, mining operation and interaction with us, but we received a letter from the king of the Skyfall kingdom,"

He paused and watched the faces of the elders"He wishes to meet with your Highness to discuss about negotiations so that we will be helping them to ward off the Humanoid race."

"Didn't they call for support from their other Kingdom?" He asked ..

"I have no information about that but they called for our help." The announcer proceeded.

As the people heard this they became happy as the thought the time was up to extort resources from the people of Skyfall Kingdom.

"Reply him that I agree and I will meet him at the Asura to discuss the conditions." Leo replied to the young vampire man.

This continued for a long time before the meeting ended, then all of them departed from the Court of Royals with some having dark thoughts and planning on over throwing the current king Leo Muscat.
