A day before confronting Elttil.

Several hours before Elttil's beast attacked Alden's room.

Late at night.

Owen and Neo had gone to bed after cultivating.

Alden stood up from his bed and quietly left the room and dormitory. Under the cover of the night, he headed to the city.

Alden moved through the streets, stopping on the deserted street where he fought Matthew.

Knock! Knock!

Alden walked to a house and knocked on the door.

Creeak!

A second later, the door opened. If one looked inside from where Alden stood, he could see only darkness in the house.

But despite that, Alden fearlessly entered.

Fush!

As Alden entered, a candle lit in the center of the room.

Creak! Creak!

The sound of old wood creaking rang through the house.

Under the dim light of the candle, one could see a large figure rocking on a chair. A giant sword resting beside him.

"Sir Aether," Alden walked up to the figure.
