Chapter 6: Eternal Inferno Technique

By the time Arthur finished explaining all about cultivation to Vishnu, it became night already. Vishnu also finished his dinner during this time. As the conversation between him and Arthur is happening inside the ring, it didn't take too much of his attention Vishnu could also do different stuff simultaneously.

Arthur is just playing with Vishnu now, One needed to reach the peak of Qi training to be able to feel elements in the environment but as Vishnu has just reached high-level of Qi training he shouldn't be able to feel elemental Qi in the environment or so he thought.

Vishnu sat cross-legged on the bed and started to concentrate. Seconds passed by then minutes then Vishnu could 'see' small different colored orbs floating around him. He ignored all of them and just focused on the red-colored ones as they represented fire Qi.

Each element is differentiated by a different color of orbs. for fire - red, water - blue, wind - green, earth - yellow, light - white, darkness - black, lightning - violet, metal - silver, and wood - brown.

As Vishnu attracted fire Qi into his body he could feel changes happening inside his body but he didn't proceed further as the old man hasn't explained what to do after this.

"I'm able to attract fire Qi what now?" Vishnu was hopeful. He could become much stronger than he has ever imagined. If even 10% of what the old man bragged about is true then he can't wait to see and experience it for himself.

'huh! you were able to do what?' shocked Arthur couldn't believe it. He has never heard of anyone able to do it after all.

"What are you so surprised about? That it didn't take me hours to do it, hehe" Vishnu still didn't know what he has just accomplished.

'No No No, how are you able to feel and attract elemental Qi at all?'

"Huh? what are you talking about?"

'To be able to feel and attract elemental Qi one has to be at the peak of Qi training but you've just reached high-level. I was just joking with you when I told you to do it' Arthur still couldn't believe it.

'Are you sure you could feel elements in the environment and even attract fire Qi?'

"yep, 9 different color orbs are floating all around and when I tried to attract the red ones I could do it. " Vishnu didn't think much about it as he thought it was due to his 9-star talent.

'Even if you're a 9-star talent it still isn't possible, I've seen 9-star talent and they couldn't do it.'

"But I can do it, so what do we do now?"

'Don't do anything, Let me think. If something goes wrong you could become a cripple for the rest of your life'

Vishnu then didn't say a word. When he heard he could become a cripple if something goes wrong he didn't dare to take risks arbitrarily. Even being dead is better than becoming a cripple in his opinion.

Hours passed but Arthur still couldn't figure out why this happened? But after all this time he had a few theories.

'Were you able to feel elements before?' Arthur asked, he wanted to know since when Vishnu could feel it.

"Mmm, I don't think I've cultivated properly after arriving at this place but before coming through that hole I've never felt elements."

'that's it then. It must have something to do with the portal. when you're passing through you were exposed to the raw space energy for a moment I think that is what triggered it. Although I'm not fully sure. I think it was because of the portal. Mortals who are exposed to raw space energy without any protection would die within seconds but you were not just exposed to space energy there was also something else mixed in which healed your wounds, Even I don't know what that energy is but that must be the reason.' Arthur finally came to this conclusion.

Even he doesn't know everything in this vast universe. If he was all that powerful he wouldn't be in this state today so he accepted that it has something to do with a power he has zero knowledge about.

'Okay then, I don't think it'll be of any problem in your cultivation but in turn maybe even beneficial, as you're able to use elemental Qi early you could be more powerful than those at the same cultivation stage. But I strictly forbid you to show this ability to anyone. If people come to know that you are this abnormal on top of your talent and grade even that sect master might just kill you out of jealousy.

So your first goal is to turn all your Qi into elemental Qi and then reach Peak of Qi training as soon as possible that way we don't have to worry about other people finding out about your abnormality. So just inform your sect that you'll first reach peak stage before taking classes from your masters.' Arthur didn't want to take any chances, who knows if during the classes some of those guys might feel elemental energy leak from Vishnu. Vishnu isn't at a level where he could completely conceal his energy from someone who is at a higher stage than him.

'Now let me finally teach the Fire cultivation method, It is called the Eternal Inferno technique. It's a technique developed by my friend's clan, they're a very big clan with long history so if you meet them in the future, don't show off this technique otherwise you'll be killed for stealing their core technique. Even when I was alive I wouldn't dare to go against them, It was just that he trusted me so much that he even showed me this technique once and I wasn't a fire cultivator so it wasn't of any use to me but at a higher stage of cultivation once you see anything you remembers it for the rest of your life so here it goes.

Once you birth a core using this technique the level of heat you'll be able to tolerate will be much higher than any other fire cultivators and your core will always be burning so even when someone tries to destroy your core It'll be very difficult. Now absorb fire Qi from the Environment and follow the path I show you in your body and mimic this breathing technique.' The Next day Vishnu instructed the head servant Josh to inform his masters that he'll be cultivating in seclusion till he reached the peak of Qi training, to which they agreed and even sent 10 high-level Qi stones each which would help to speed up his cultivation.

Qi stones are divided into three quality levels Low, Mid, and High. 1 Mid-quality Qi stones are equivalent to 100 Low-quality Qi stones and the same way 1 High-quality Qi stone is equivalent to 100 Mid-quality Qi stones.

But Vishnu didn't have any need for these stones as he is no longer cultivating pure Qi but elemental Qi so he ordered his servant to buy some High-quality firestone. It was suggested by Arthur, Normally people will only use one elemental stone to birth an elemental core as they're already at the peak of Qi training but in Vishnu's case, he could use these elemental stones to cultivate.

The problem is that even the Low-quality elemental stones are super rare. so it cost him 19 high-quality qi stones just to buy 1 high-quality firestone and that too because he is a gold-level discipline and fire stones are usually less rare compared to some other elements.

In the next 5 days, Vishnu completely absorbed the firestone and reached the peak of Qi training. The speed of his cultivation was astonishing, to say the least even Arthur was surprised but consoled himself thinking that it might be due to his 9-star talent plus that unknown energy.

First Vishnu has to form a core of fire element, only then could he cultivate other forms of Qi otherwise it could lead to some complications in his dantian if different types of Qi clash in his dantian. There are methods to cultivate using multiple Qi but Vishnu is not taking that direction.

On the next day, Vishnu finally went to see Elder Veronica who'll be teaching him fire arts.
