Crushing flags and claiming the Villainess

After getting hit by the truck, Luke was reincarnated as a target character in a reverse harem game. He was supposed to throw away his fiancée—the Villainess—and mindlessly follow the Protagonist. A side character he was destined to be, however, even if Luke accepts his fate as a side character, he cannot let the Villainess meet with the same dead end. ----------- Additional tags: No yaoi, no yuri, no NTR. Chapter 22- Sudden arrival(1)

Austin had a very clear goal behind his actions. People might call it going to some extreme length to trap Parkinson, but he had to.

Under no other crime would he have been expelled from the Academy except for kidnapping and possible murder of a fellow schoolmate.

It was necessary to get rid of Parkinson since Austin had already shifted the plot by not letting Valerie get suspended. So he chose to act first rather than letting his opponent make strategies and try to harm him or his beloved.

The only person who could have changed things, and completely demolished his plans was Valerie. He knew her strength and the extent of her love for him.

If she had harmed Parkinson or, worse, killed him, things would have taken a very awful turn. That's why, despite having the plans of remaining unconscious for the entire time, Austin chose to wake up and stop his fiancée.

Now, inside the infirmary were several teachers and the Headmaster. It has been a few hours since Austin was rescued and thanks to recovery potions, he can barely talk.

Under normal circumstances, the Headmaster would have let Austin recover first, but things soon were going to turn hectic.

Once the father of the suspect gets informed about the situation, by no means would he let Parkinson remain in the academy anymore. Parkinson would be taken away under the pretense that he would be judged by his father. But in the end, the teenager wouldn't get punished.

Sebastian was using a cotton pad to clean the wound on his master's cheek as the blond Prince heard the supreme authority asking, "Austin...do you remember what happened?"

Austin looked dazed for a moment, his eyes situated on nothing particular as he thought back on what happened before he informed,

"I returned to my room late at night...and fell asleep instantly. Then suddenly, my sleep was disturbed in the middle of the night because of some awful scent."

Valerie's hand trembled hearing that, and the Professors flinched—ready to subdue her this time if things went out of control. However, Austin held her hand and gave her an assuring look, as he continued to talk,

"I saw a pair of green eyes who were pressing the fabric against my mouth....and the smell was making me dizzy and sluggish. I couldn't muster up the courage to fight against him."

Philius frowned, "Was it the scent of used socks?"

"Y-Yes...that's it. Very awful." Austin affirmed.

The headmaster nodded, before he informed others, "It's the Dizzy Dew—given to prisoners during interrogation to prevent them from killing themselves."

Everyone in the crowd was aware of the potion, as the nurse said, "I thought such a potion is prohibited to bring in the academy?"

Potions have always been a sensitive topic in the academy, and due to some previous events, all the ingredients of the potions are closely monitored.

Philius grimly said, "Parkinson must have received the materials through his weekly parcels from his hometown."

Turning back toward the younger one, Philius wordlessly urged Austin to continue.

"After that...I was feeling someone was hitting me...using a blunt object but I wasn't able to react at all. My Aura was not working as well nor could I muster up the strength to cry out for help."

Suddenly, a voice emerged from the crowd, which attracted everyone's attention, "If I may ask, Sebastian, where were you when all this happened?"

It was Morkel who walked inside the infirmary and questioned the loyal servant from the royal family who had the duty to protect the young master all the time.

Naturally, if Sebastian had been around Austin would have never been kidnapped.

Every eye then turned towards the grey-haired man but it wasn't him who answered the question.

"I sent Sebastian to patrol around the premises. Since Harold and a few professors are not in the academy for the time being, we were short on staff members." The Headmaster informed before his brows drew closer,

"What are you trying to imply here, Morkel?"

The bespectacled one raised his hands and innocently stated, "I am not making any judgments here, sir; however, we need to look at things from different angles as well."

Advancing towards them, he stood while facing Austin before uttering, "There must be a severe reason why student Parkinson suddenly decided to kidnap Austin."

Austin stared at the man with an indifferent look—he knew that until he was here, he wouldn't let Parkinson get punished so easily.

Fortunately, the one who gave him the proof was someone from his team, "There was a reason, Professor."

The tallest one in the room called out, urging everyone to look at him as Rudolph added,

"Yesterday, in the morning, when Austin invited Parkinson to talk, he left his office while shouting madly. Several students saw him threatening Austin."

Morkel frowned, "Did you hear it from someone?"

"Yes, many students were talking about it. If you want you can confirm it from them."

"And we shouldn't forget about the spar yesterday. We all heard how Parkinson was showing his grudge during the battle, continuously swearing to kill Austin."

The instructor in charge of the battle yesterday, added.

Philius frowned before his eyes went towards Austin, and he asked, "Do you know the reason?"

Austin thought for a moment before responding, "...maybe because I took Valerie's side in the trials that pissed him off?"

If Austin had said that a few hours ago, no one would have believed that Parkinson could take such a big step just because of that. However, after witnessing how madly he is obsessed with Rhea, it doesn't sound implausible.

It was not unknown to others that Austin and Rhea were close, and someone who is so madly in love with Rhea, surely would see Austin as an enemy.

The evidence was against him and Philius seemed to have reached a conclusion.

However, before he could have said anything, a Professor entered the infirmary and stated,

"Headmaster! The Prime Minister from the Hener kingdom has arrived."

The Professor began to murmuring, wondering how the new reached Parkinson's family so soon.

While Austin kept his cold gaze constant on Morkel'sh smiling ones.

'This assh*le is hell-bent on ruining my plans...'
