Chapter 10 II Black and Pink

After munching in the cafeteria, Julia made her way back to her morning class. The chocolate sandwich Julia brought from home was delicious, but she only ate half of it during her first break. This morning, Julia was only able to make it to school about five minutes before the bell rang, so she was unable to finish her meal in time.

Regarding Julia's anxiety, Lucas did not give her any extra duties. Thus, Julia was able to pay attention in class and absorb the information being delivered by the teacher.

Three days have passed since Julia last attended Galaxy High. After two days, no changed have been noticed. In contrast, Julia's life hasn't been as peaceful as usual because she can't seem to get rid of Lucas.

"I am waiting you on the rooftop"

Suddenly, Julia remembered Lucas's request that she has to visit the roof. Unfortunately for Lucas, Julia declined to obey. It was clear to Julia that Lucas only wanted to play with her. As a result, Julia should avoid him.

"Fantastic! You can't say enough good things about this girl. Don't try to get away from me and reject my commands."

It was easy for Julia to pick up on Lucas's voice as he yelled at her to stop talking. This guy was following close behind Julia. But Julia had no plans to slow her pace.

"Julia!" Lucas was calling her. No one has responded to the call as of yet.

Lucas, frustrated that his call went unanswered, blocked Julia's path, and she had to pause in front of him.

Simply stating, "What do you want?" was Julia's direct question.

"It's me who needs to be asking you," Lucas said. "Just head up to the roof, why don't you? You can't hear me because your ears hurt, right? If your hearing is impaired, please tell me. I'll then gladly drive you to see an audiologist."

"In this case, it is not necessary. I'm OK going to the doctor by myself," said Julia, before making clear her plans to leave Lucas.

Lucas, however, once again stood in Julia's way. Without a doubt, Lucas wouldn't allow Julia to go anywhere without him. After Julia ignored his commands, Lucas had another surprise in store for her.

"What about the deal we made? You do remember that, right? It is your responsibility to carry out my instructions "The deal Lucas and Julia had made came back to him.

"But I don't want to listen your demands," Julia scowled at Lucas.

"Your behavior is extremely unprofessional. I'm not afraid to break my word, but I rarely do. Tch! Hubris, you." Julia felt a brief pause in her heart rate.

Liar? Has Julia broken her word? On the other hand, Julia does not usually conduct one of those things. You could check among Julia's former classmates. For all we know, Julia was not the promiscuous type.

Because she disliked talking with Lucas, Julia came out as dishonest this time around. Julia is a student, therefore she came here to do her study. She refused to serve as Lucas' slave.

"Maybe you just pretended to forget, but in reality you broke your commitment to let everyone know how horrible you are. A naive young lady who enjoys going out to nightclubs, " Mockingly, Lucas declared.

This is completely unreasonable. Though Julia was not able to exert control over Lucas, he was able to exert his will over her.

The fact that Lucas now had an altered version of the photo meant that Julia had no choice but to do what she was told.

"Just tell me what it is you want. Just tell me what you're thinking and feeling," Julia admitted her defeat at last.

Since you broke my commands, you deserve this," Lucas remarked, making it clear what he expected from Julia.

"After class, you can insult me then. My class bell was about to ring, and I must return to my seat "When responding to Lucas's remarks, Julia had already decided on the most diplomatic response possible.

If she didn't have to, Julia shouldn't bother picking out nice words to use. This was done in an effort to keep Lucas from mistreating Julia any further.

"Why wait when you can do it now?" This was a question that Lucas had.

"You obviously missed what I said. Soon the doorbell will ring, Lucas. To avoid further punishment, I plan to get to class on time."

"It's okay to attempt missing a class every once in a while. Definitely, you'll become dependent on it," This was something Lucas remarked offhand. As if skipping school were the one exception to the rule.

"Feel free to skip class if you so choose. Nonetheless, I promise I won't ever skip out on our time together "

"I'm telling you," Julia stated firmly.

"Julia, your existence is just too mundane."

"So, you believe that to be true. However, that won't happen with me. These days, I feel like I have it made.

Lucas mumbled something to himself. He was thinking about the best way to see how patient Julia was. Then Lucas noticed Julia had brought a drink in a disposable cup.

Lucas addressed Julia by her full name as he approached: "Julia Amanda."

Julia recoiled involuntarily, avoiding any proximity to Lucas. But there's a wall in Julia's way, so she can't perform any more evasive maneuvers.

"What do you want to do, Lucas?" Julia warned her attackers, "I can scream if you do anything to me."

Julia's threats clearly had no effect on Lucas. Obviously not. What was Lucas's interest in this? As for Lucas's disregard for the opinions of others, that never changed.

Do you think it's impolite to sip your drink while someone else is attempting to carry on a conversation with you? Lucas looked the woman in the eye and replied, "I assume your parents taught you how to be courteous in front of other people."

The color left Julia's face. Lucas guessed that Julia was fighting back the discomfort of being stared at so intensely by him. Lucas was spot-on with his prediction. However, that is not the whole truth either.

Being the object of Lucas's focused gaze made Julia feel awkward. However, Julia was irritated that Lucas still bothered her after all this time. Just for a little while, might Lucas give Julia some space?

"Take." Julia said, "Here, have this drink I got at the cafeteria if that's what you want."

"You purposefully handed me used drinks?"

"What?" Lucas enquired.

Have a good look at the glass you're now using. Nothing has been broken inside. It's only one sip, but I haven't had anything to drink yet," Julia replied, indicating the plastic cup in Lucas' palm.

"Okay. To whoever bought me a drink, cheers! Lucas turned around as he raised his glass.

Is Lucas done with his antics for good? Obviously not. Lucas's ultimate goal in unsettling Julia will eventually become clear to you both.

"If I could have only one more thing ..." Lucas halted when his body accidently met with Julia's.

As a result of the mishap, the drink in Lucas' palm spilled all over Julia's top half of her school uniform.

I cursed at Lucas. Julia hissed, suppressing a torrent of negative feelings

Julia had assumed that they had finished their conversation. Because of this, Julia stepped forward, not realizing that Lucas would likely turn around again.

I swear I didn't intend to do that.

The things you've said are totally unbelievable.

Julia tried to leave Lucas, but the man held on to her hand. Lucas pressed Julia's body into the wall with one swift motion.

"Lucas, let go of my hand!" Julia exclaimed, oblivious to the fact that everyone around her was staring at her.

Lucas ignored Julia's call in favor of inspecting Julia's appearance closely. Not long after that, Lucas leaned forward until his chin was level with Julia's right ear.

"I think you would look much better in black than the pink you're now donning."

After hearing Lucas's comments, Julia rolled her eyes. Lucas had already walked out the door in front of Julia before she could say anything. It was obvious to Julia that Lucas was pleased with himself for having humiliated her.

"Fuck! The nerve! You sicko!"
