"You said that this guy here, son of duke. Was lost last night? What date is it outside anyway? We have lost count of time while inside this forest because it is always night here." Avery said with a confused tone but her facial expression didn't even change.

'That's an assassin for you, she killed many people already. Maybe she lost emotions, it said at the book that she is the youngest of all the members, but she is the leader and gain respect from it's member.'

"Yeah, he was lost last night. And the date is the 19th of January. It was already evening when I entered the forest and that was like 40 minutes ago. " Actually I almost forgot what date it was because, I don't track the date in this world. Luckily, when I left from the city, I heard that today is his highness the crown prince birthday...19th of January.

"What?! That's ridiculous miss, I left and entered the forest, 19th of January early in the morning with my guild!" Lucas was really pale and...

'Wow, I won't be shock at any of these anymore. Being in this world was unbelievable, nothing can surpass that even time differences didn't even startled me. I even slept years. I'm not sleeping beauty.'

"And you three met 4 months ago? So that means time is faster here in the forest than the outside? Is what my conclusion is." I said as I think that if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

"Yes, we helped Lucas when his guild was killed, that's why he's the only escaped. If we haven't arrived, he would be dead by now." Is what he said.

"And you are? " I asked as I offer my hand to him, he has an intense aura than the other two. Lucas and Avery.

He took my hand and smiled, his grip are strong and his hand is rough and it feels like he is a hard working man.

"Hi there Liana, I'm really sorry for scaring you awhile ago. I'm Huxley Dawn, people call me something Huxley, but you can call me anything you like" he said happily and he really has a friendly aura right now. Hm, sus.

"Okay..then Dawn nice to meet you." he's very friendly to the point it's awkward for me, but he looked like he's in mid 40 though, young I see.

"You're not shock miss?" Lucas asked, and I think Avery is wondering too.

"Miss you should just follow him, he doesen't like it that he's denied or objected. He's a king after all. Even though he's like that." Lucas whispered to me.

"Ah- aha-ahahahahaha. Yes, Dawn thank you for saving the empire, It's not late right? haha." King just smiled and that made me think if I said the right thing.

"HA HA HA HA, yes yes that's it. And for the question why I'm here, is to solve the mystery in this forest and it's been decades I stayed here. It seems you said there is a time difference here and the outside, then that explains I'm still alive and slowly aged even after decades in living here. HA HA HA such a mysterious forest it is." Is what the king said.

"Since you have been decades here Dawn, did you discovered any? Or sovle any about this forest? They said once you get inside, you'll never get out." I asked while looking at the surrounding, something is off, since minutes ago.

"Hmm, yes I've discovered things pretty much, just how to get out of this forest is my little problem. But first why don't we do something about this?" I guess he noticed also, that a here for you. The weird atmosphere in here, something familiar but I can't remember what it is.

I see that Lucas and Avery and also the King are cautions and in their combat zone. Their pretty cool, with them I can secure I am safe.

'Mwahahaha, safety? secured.'

"Do you know how to fight little girl? Cause with this situations I can't protect you or neither do they can also. This is something you have to survive on your own." Avery warned me, and in that time I sensed not 5 or 30 but more human presence.

'We are traped. Damn, when I thought my safety is secured. I swear this is Raven's fault! First we have to know their locations, I don't know how to fight but maybe I can escape. They can survive this and I don't. '

I began my sensory skills and obviously..... There is no escape, I saw people wearing black cloak. Some are holding something like a wand stick and a staffs, I guess their are mages. Some have swords, and some have black aura surrounding them and I think they're the most dangerous among them all.

"I think they are not here to talk right? Hahaha..." Do I even have to ask?

"What do you think?" Avery smirked.

'Is this fun to you? Cause for me it's not. I'll die heree. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'

"What? What happen?" The three of them faced me preparing to attack.

"Ah, did I say that out loud? Sorry, it's nothing. Hehe"

"Don't startle us Miss." Lucas said, I think he's very anxious in this situation.

"Yes, sorry. But why are these people here? They just sent like an army, they have mages and sword fighter thingy and black magic? I don't know."

"I see that you have a keen sense. But I must apologize, since I am their target. They are looking for HA HA HA. Living here for decades, made me some enemies. Since all of you are with me, they will be targeting you too. I apologize." I sense sincerity from the king but, apology won't do anything right now.

'Atleast grant us our safety Dawn!'

"Since, they're here we can't do anything about it. We have to plan how we will fight them. Some note to take, this is 4 against an army. How will we survive?" Avery said with a smirk on her face again.

"You think we'll survive?" I asked.

The three of them just faced me and their looks tells like I'm stating the obvious.

"Thought so." I answered at my own question.

"Shh, they are making their move." Lucas informed us and I cowerdly just hide behind King.

The three of them faced me again with a look that tells 'What are you doing?'

"I don't know how to fight okay. " They just shake their heads and faced again the oponents. They are now literally circling us.

'What should I do? I don't have anything, and I don't know any like fighting. I wish I just accepted the taekwondo class my mom signed me in when I was 6th grader. Maybe I'll survive for a minute."

Those are the words I wanna tell them, but today si not a great day to die yet.

The army started to move closer to us and made me anxious to what might happen. What are their intentions? Are they gonna kill us? How? Beheaded, strike the heart or straight to the head or feed us to the wild and demonic creature in the forest? Or torture style? Whip us with 30 slash a day? Not feeding us? Making us drink poison and drugs?
