The piercing sound of the alarm clock brought Leah back from her sleep. She groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. She rolled over to the right side of the bed so that she could turn off the alarm clock. She slammed her hand on the alarm clock to turn it off and it did. She rolled over again just so she was lying on her back. She looked up at the white ceiling, sighing. Today was the big day, she was getting married to a man she had never met before.
Her family was forcing her to marry that man because her father's company was on the verge of bankruptcy. So her family decided that it was best that she married some rich boy. The man's family also wanted their son to get married, that is why they agreed to this. They promised her parents that they would help them with their company and they agreed. They did not even ask her how she felt about all of this, they just agreed.
She got off the bed slowly and then she made her bed. She checked the clock and she noticed that it was only 7:34am. They told her that she had to have to be ready by eight because they were coming to pick her up at nine. Her wedding was going to be a huge wedding because her soon to be husband was a well-known businessman, who was feared by many.
With just one glance people just fell at his feet, he was called a God in the business world because he managed to dominate it in just a few months. He was also known for being ruthless and merciless, he crushed anyone who stood in his way. He was every women's dream husband, but none of them got the chance to even sit in the same room with him. Those are the only things that she knew about him. She was probably the only one who did not know what he looked like.
Leah made her way into the bathroom and she took a long and warm shower, this was the last time she would get to take a shower in her father's mansion. This mansion was the only thing that her father had left, his company was almost done for, but since her soon to be in-laws agreed to help him there was hope for his company.
After taking a shower Leah walked out of the bathroom and she walked into her walk-in closet that was filled with different kind of clothes, shoes abd handbags. Most of her clothes were custom made. Her life was perfect before her mother died and her father got married to her stepmother, who made it her goal to take away everything that Leah had. It was because of her that her father's company was on the verge of bankruptcy, but she dud not care, she only wanted the benefits of Leah's father's hardwork.
Leah decided to wear a blue short, strapless tight dress and white heels. She then tied her hair into a ponytail. She did not bother styling it because it was going to be styled anyway. She then made her way out of the room and she walked down the stairs abd she made her way into the dining hall where everyone else was seated ready to eat breakfast. "Good morning everyone."Leah said and she took a seat next to her brother Lucius.
"Morning Leah. "Everyone said except for her stepmother Lucille who just rolled her eyes. She was just happy that after today she wouldn't have to put up with Leah anymore, she just had to be a little patient.
"You must be happy since you'll be marrying into a wealthy and prestigious family today."Leah's stepsister, Leona said. She was really jealous that her Leah was the one who got to marry her crush instead of her. But her mother promised her that Leah's marriage was not going to last for more than a year because there was no way that someone like her would be liked by that family.
"Yes I am very happy. At least I get to marry him instead of only dreaming about marrying him."Leah said. Leona knew that that Leah was only saying that make her angry so she decided not to fight with her in front of their father because their father knew her as the good girl who never caused any trouble at all.
"You are quite right Leah because many girls would kill time be in your position."Leona said with a fake smile plastered on her face. If she knew how terrible she was at faking a smile then she wouldn't even fake it.
"You know Leona don't try to pretend because you can't even do it."Leah said with a smile on her face.
"Leah what do you expect me to do, be angry. This smile is real, I really am happy for you sister."Leona said trying her best not to lose her cool.
"It's stepsister to you but anyway soon you'll be calling me Mrs Copeland. Now doesn't that sound great."Leah said. Even though she was not happy about thus marriage, she just couldn't help but rub the fact that she gets to marry everyone's dream man in Leona's face.
"Girls now that's enough, finish your food they'll come abd pick you up soon Leah."Lucille said. She did not want the two of them to fight now. Leona scoffed and she ate her food quietly, so did Leah. The others ate their food in complete silence too.
After having breakfast they all sat in the living room waiting for the person that was supposed to pick Leah up. As soon as the clock hit 9am sharp they saw a black car outside the gates abd the person was honking the horn. "That's your ride."Leah's father, Ludwig said as he stood up from the couch. The rest of the family members stood up too. "We'll see you there dear."Her father said with a smile on his face.
"Alright, bye."Leah said and she made her way out of the house and she walked towards the car that was parked outside her father's mansion. She got into the car. "Hello there."She said to the driver who was wearing a black suit. He looked quite intimidating but not to Leah, she was never afraid to take out a bad guy, especially the ones wearing fancy suits.
"Hello young miss."The man said and then he drive away. Leah's family followed with their car. They were not told where the wedding was going to be held so the just had to follow the car that Leah was in and they would get to the venue.

After about an hour they finally arrived at the venue. It was a place that was surrounded by trees and it was near a river too. The entire place was decorated. From the decoration you could tell that this was not a wedding for a commoner. You could tell that a wealthy person was getting married.
Leah got out of the car and she was greeted by a woman who was wearing a maid outfit and she escorted her inside the huge building where she was going to get dressed. She did not even get the chance to choose her own wedding dress, the Copelands just chose a dress that they found to be fit for someone who was marrying their son.
After a few minutes they arrived in a huge room. There was a make-up artist, a hair dresser and a few women that were going to help her get dressed. Shetook a deep breath, she knew that there was no turning back now. Even if she tried to run away she wouldn't be able to make it far because the Copelands were rich enough to hire the entire city to search for her.
—-----------------
After a few hours Leah was fully dressed abd her hair was made. She was ready to get marrued to a wealthy man now but she still didn't like the idea of not knowing what her husband looked like. "Your name is Susan right?"She asked one of the women that were helping her get dressed. The woman nodded her head in response."Do you perhaps have a picture of the person that I am going to marry?"She asked.
"Not at all young miss, you are going to see him at the altar."Susan said with a bright smile on her face. Leah just nodded her head. The wedding dress that she was wearing was making her feel hot, she couldn't wait to get out of that dress.
A few minutes later someone knocked on the door. "It's time."A woman said. Leah took a deep breath. She told herself that she was doing it for her dad, it was all for her dad's company. If it was not for him then she wouldn't even bother marrying a man she did not know. She took a deep breath and then she stood up from the stool and she walked out of the room into the hallway. She found her father standing near a closed double door.
Her soon to be husband was waiting for her behind those double doors. "Are you ready Sweetheart."Her father said. She took a deep breath and she nodded her head in response, and then she hooked her hand into her father's hand. This was going to be one hell of a ride.
