David was seated in the garden of his penthouse when Charles brought his phone that he had a call. His mother was on the line, waiting patiently to speak to her son.
"Good morning mum," he greeted calmly.
"David," the voice he heard sounded high-pitched and he knew something was definitely wrong, "what's this I hear about the way you treated your fiancee when she came to your house?" she asked with same voice showing she wasn't happy.
"I didn't know you listen to gossip now mum." David said and knew this will get her more angry.
"Cheryl came here in tears, David. What do you think you're doing?" she scoffed "Calling for a hookah in her presence? That's so insulting and disappointing coming from you."
"Mum, she was in my space and I needed her to leave." David replied still with a calm voice.
"In your space? What does that even mean?"
"It means, I don't need her occupying my space. She could come stay with you, since you're her engager."
