" I don't know why mom will send you to find my stuff when you are just as dump as-" cutting Claire off Kathie said. " as you " Katherine completed, bent down looking under the chair. she saw a shiny silver which reminded her of someone. she picked it up. she brought the ring to give it to Claire.

" learn to search well" she said giving the ring to Claire but she didn't collect it but continued to glare at her fummingly.

Katherine used her eyes to search for a pocket in her dress, finding one she slipped it in, walking out to finally eat.

when she walked through the sitting room she saw Steve making a call in the Telecom. A habit he had come to form. she wondered who he always spoke to. walking forward she reached the kitchen before taking she and Evelyn food.

Katherine and Evelyn ate their breakfast but was as late as ten o'clock. " Kathie I will be resuming work as a teacher tomorrow " Evelyn in between the food they were eating. Katherine smiled at her sister, with a beam. " Am happy for you Evy, "

"Kathie would you not like to have yourself apply for a job "

" I will if I see , so c'mon sis let us eat, I am so hungry " Katherine took big spoons before feeding her mouth chewing on it.

When they were done, Katherine stood to get a book, before she started to sketch on it. she made a mistake so she wanted to ask Steve if he had eraser but he was too engrossed in the family Telecom.she stood walking to her room to look for one, but she felt someone hug her tight from the side. " oh Ka.THE.rine".He stressed her name. she could sense Steve was in good and was excited about something he discussed in the telephone. "Do you have a good news this time" Katherine asked.

"Yes, base on my level of study, the council are thinking of taking me with them, I will be going for the Exam tomorrow "he said before pushing his glasses back on his nose. Steve now wore glasses. Katherine playfully pushed him away but lightly, Steve and her were now very fond of each other. " Evelyn has also gotten the work of a teacher, am so happy for you two" Steve smile widened, he was now looking more to be called a man.

"so the next is you Kathie " he said and Katherine laughed it away.

"Don't you two still behave like kids" Evelyn said who has been watching. There was a knock at the door, they went to check on it to see a mail man.

" what do you have there " Katherine asked the lean man at the door. He handed her an envelope before scurrying away. Katherine looked at the envelope which was written at the end to the Heathcliff daughters. Seeing what was their they shared a look before Steve snatched the envelope away tiring it.

" I am recommending a job opportunity to one of your daughter who are interesting to work as my personal maid, come to Groovington by Six o clock tomorrow morning dot, don't miss time it's an opportunity.

Steve read it out for their hearing. Katherine heart thumped. could it be the Donovan she knew, maybe one of his relative. If it was the Donovan she knew she wasn't ready to work for them, even if she was asked to.

When the night calls, the family came to discuss about the matter. They concluded that Kathie would be the one going, the others had their own job only Claire who refused to work as a maid.

so tomorrow morning three of them were heading out for their various job interviews and Exam. she hoped to get the job but didn't want it to be the Donovan she knew.
