Iris pov

sitting in the judges waiting room talking amongst ourselves. "Iris may I?" grandfather ask wanting to feel the baby. I don't mind and let him. "you are going to have boys. I feel the strength swimming inside you. The two will no doubt be a combination of you and Kojiro. I can't wait to meet them shouldn't be to long now." He said with a goofy grin. "also I made the contestants make small portions for you. We don't need the little ones getting hurt." I nod in appreciation. the other judges wanted to feel and I didn't mind. Erina sometimes comes to my room to listen to them. It made me feel special being pregnant even though it is not the best time to be. Soon we sat at out judges table. I know both Megumi Tadokoro and Ryo kurokiba grew up by the sea. This is a battle of the sea no doubt. Although watching the way they are looking at eachother. I see a bit of flirtation going on. It would not surprise me if they ended up together. They would be a cute couple and compliment each other perfectly. They both looked calm as they were cooking. I walked up to Megumi watching her closely. The broth seemed sweet wait its vegetable broth. Ryo finished first his was too pungent. I pushed it away. "I'm sorry Ryo it's not that I don't want to eat it." He stopped me by putting his hand up and nods. "I understand Iris no big deal." He said calmly." I smile "Maybe next time." I chuckled he smiled "I'll hold you to it." He said knowing I will at some point.

Megumi was done soon after. The bowl didn't smell as pungent so I took a small bite. I had to put it back though I felt bad. "Did I do something wrong?" Megumi asked panicking. "She is pregnant remember." Ryo said knowing what I was about to say only I was going to be nice about it. "they why are you even here judging the food?" She asked before covering her mouth. "I have say on appearance." I said calmly knowing she had a point. Soon after Ryo was named the winner.

*Time skip*

I was in my room knitting baby booties when a knock came to the door. "it's open let yourself in." I said calmly to my shock Ryo came in. "well this is a surprise." I said before getting up. "Go ahead sit I will make some tea. " I said walking to the small kitchen. when I return he looked nervous. "Ok Ryo what's wrong?" I asked handing him the cup. "I know you are closer to Megumi than I am. Do....Do you know what she likes?" I knew it oh this is a treat. "Well she is a small town girl. She likes flowers and chocolate. You know typical girl things. Why do you ask do you have a crush on her?" I asked with a sly grin. "You already know I do woman." He said looking away blushing with a pout. I chuckle before placing my hand on his. This was to make him look at me. "Ryo try talking to her. Be gentle when you speak and take her out for some fun. Cute little things then when you are comfortable tell her how you feel. I have a feeling she feels the same way." I said with a gentle mom voice. "Your not even a mom yet and you are giving mom advice." He said with a shy boyish smile. "Thanks I will do that oh before I go may I." I laugh "go ahead everyone else does." He rested his ear against my stomach. "Listen in there you have yourself a good mom. Don't do anything stupid to mess it up. You don't want Uncle Ryo coming after you." He said before get up to leave. "Iris thanks for the tea it was delicious." He smiles walking out the door. I go back to knitting thinking about how adorable Ryo can be.

Megumi came a little while later. "I don't know what to do Iris?" she said sadly making me sigh. "Megumi talk to him I assure you he feels the same. If he asks you to do something. I want you to go along with it. Ryo can be a bit of a brut on the outside. He is actually a sweet boy I promise you. He would never treat you wrong. " I said and like Ryo she agreed and left. "Your auntie and Uncle are so silly." I said rubbing my stomach. "Ok cupid I did my part you do the rest." I said out loud to no one in particular.
