Serene As Dead

Aly couldn’t sleep after that horrific nightmare she just experienced.

Her peace of mind was gone.

Seeing Aiofee staring at her, Aly thought to herself that she might have scared the poor lion by her expression.

She sighed and hugged the Albanian lion to coax him down.

Yet the lion didn't show any expression.

His happiness was gone with Blaze. Aly understood his pain, and the reason behind him being cold and expressionless. She hugged him more tightly.

The lion closed his eyes, to Aly, it seemed he had fallen asleep.

She brushed the tears off her face and got up from his side.

As she turned back, Aiofee opened his eyes and observed her acts.

Aly tiptoed went downstairs for some water. And as she left out of his eyesight, he again closed his eyes pretending to be asleep.
