Jinx

"I think that car was tryin to kill you," Aaron said.

"Jinx," Luna sighed and passed the key to Aaron. "You drive."

"Careful," Alec said as he realized that the car looks so familiar. "I think it's better if I drive."

"Are you an expert at dodging and speeding?" Aaron asked.

"I am," Alec said.

"I think Luna's better at it," Aaron grinned and passed the key to Luna again. "Cause she used to be a racer."

"I quit for three years already so stop being an arse," she smacked his head.

"Trust me, she used to go to Puncak at 12 and arrived there at 12,20 uphill using my car," Aaron said. "And she loves Initial D because she learned to drift. And it cost me my tires."

"Yadda yadda," Luna sighed and resigned herself to the driver seat again. She noticed Alec's behavior was quite different.

"Careful I think it's Sarah," Alec whispered to her as they went inside the car first.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

He nodded.

"Are you paying for a full tank cause I'm going to make a detour for a bit?" Luna asked.

"Sure," Aaron said happily.

She sighed, put the seatbelt on and started the car. She saw Alec keep staring at the rear mirror and his phone. She realized something was very wrong as she noticed the girl's face from the rear mirror. She's so pretty but looks so scary with jealousy as she drove the car with the intention to crash it into their car.

"Whoa…" Aaron screamed. "Are you planning to take a detour to my place?"

"Nope, his place is safer," Luna said.

She sped up and went to Tanjung Duren area and that silver Civic kept tailing them and almost crashed onto them several times. Luna slipped onto a smaller road but that silver car kept finding them.

"I think we should switch to my car," Alec suggested. "She texted: found ya…."

"I don't know which one's creepier, her or you," Aaron screamed. "I mean, how did you put up with her for so long and didn't know that she's a psycho!"

"Her brother was my friend and I never saw her as anything other than my friend's sister." Alec said.

Luna heard her phone ring and saw her father's number.

"Hi, dad?"

"Hi, sweetie, when will you be home?" her father asked.

"As soon as I can, miss you, dad."

"Are you okay?" her father asked as he could hear Aaron's screaming like a banshee.

"Yes, just taking him for a ride since he asked for it," Luna smiled.

"Drive safely. and tell him to stop screaming."

""I will," she chuckled, "see you soon."

"Hey asshole! Concentrate!" Aaron screamed and shouted again.

"Wow your dad's cool," Alec said.

"Damn, who told you to buy a red car?' Luna nagged at Aaron.

"Cause I think it looks cool," Aaron sighed.

Alec's phone rang and it's from Sarah.

"Sarah what the hell are you doing?" Alec asked as soon as he picked up the phone.

"Peek a boo?" she laughed like a witch, "Who is she?"

"A friend and business partner," Alec replied truthfully.

"Want me to ruin another business partner for you?" Sarah asked. "Should I tip the cop again that you're doing illegal stuff and plant some e-pill on your liquid or whatever you called it?"

"You're crazy!" Alec shouted.

"Yes, I've been crazily in love with you, Alec," Sarah shouted back. "I can get my brother in jail so I can also kill this girl."

"You're insane!" Alec shouted. "Stop this craziness at once!"

She turned off the line.

Both Aaron and Luna stared at him in horror. Luna started to go to Gajahmada from Tomang.

"Hey, I better drive alone," Luna sighed. "It's annoying to hear your phone message notification and your scream."

"Let's go to my place first," Alec sighed.

"Guide me," Luna signed. "Aaron please stop screaming…."
